Davis went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's loss to the Dodgers.

His fifth-inning shot off Clayton Kershaw actually gave the Mets a brief 3-2 lead, but the bullpen fell apart in the bottom of the sixth. Davis is slashing only .234/.269/.406 through 20 games in May with a weak 3:18 BB:K, but three of his six homers on the year have come in his last nine starts.

Duffy, whose rehab has been paused after he felt tightness in his left hamstring during a rehab game with Triple-A Durham last Wednesday, will be evaluated "over the next few weeks", Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The veteran infielder's latest setback unsurprisingly left him very frustrated, considering it appeared Duffy was just a handful of rehab games away from finally making his 2019 majors debut. For the moment, it appears it's several steps back for Duffy, and a return around the All-Star break could well be the likeliest best-case scenario.

Ramirez is not starting Monday against the Red Sox, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com reports.

Ramirez hits the bench for just the second time all season. He's improved a bit after posting a .557 OPS through the end of April, but his .635 OPS in the month of May remains nowhere close to expectations. Mike Freeman starts at third base in his absence.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored during Sunday's 7-1 win over the Mariners.

Chapman started the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning, later adding a double and coming around to score. The slugger now has 27 extra-base hits through 199 at-bats this season to push his OPS to an impressive .892. He has developed into a complete player, with a skillset on par with Nolan Arenado -- the difference being that Arenado gets to play half his games in Coors Field.

Senzel was superb in Sunday's win over the Cubs, scoring four runs in the course of going 3-for-5 with a walk. He also had his first major-league outfield assist, throwing out Anthony Rizzo at home when the game was still close, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Senzel is now 100 plate appearances into his major-league career, and he's hitting .256/.330/.422 with five stolen bases in eight attempts. His 27.0 K% is a little higher than we expected, but not completely out of line with his first exposure to big-league pitching.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base Sunday against Houston.

Devers left the yard in the fourth inning, putting Boston in the lead. He's recorded an extra-base hit in six consecutive contests, driving in eight runs over that stretch.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a double, three RBI, a walk and a run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Anderson cut Miami's deficit to four runs in the ninth inning after driving in three runs on a double to center field, but it wasn't enough to come away with the victory. He continues to put on an impressive display of power, slugging three home runs while driving in nine over his last six ballgames.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Marlins.

Rendon tripled home two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, extending Washington's lead to eight. The 28-year-old has put together a modest four-game hitting streak, collecting three extra-base hits and four RBI over that brief stretch.

Moustakas was ejected in the top of the seventh inning of Sunday's game against the Phillies, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

It's unclear what Moustakas said to warrant the ejection, but umpire Mike Estabrook tossed the third baseman after a brief conversation between the two in the field. It's the fourth career ejection for Moustakas and his first since joining the Brewers ahead of the 2018 trade deadline. He went hitless in his four at-bats on the day before being replaced by Keston Hiura.

Vargas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Vargas will take a seat after making three consecutive starts, including one Friday in which he piled up a career-high five hits. Though he doesn't have a clear path to an everyday role, Vargas should nonetheless see his opportunities increase while Wilmer Flores (foot) remains on the 10-day injured list.
