Devers was named the AL Player of the Month for May, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports.

Devers batted .351 with seven doubles, eight home runs, six walks and 24 RBI during May. While these awards recognize a player's achievements at the plate, it's worth noting Devers has also showed vast improvement in the field. He last made an error May 2 and has handled 68 subsequent chances cleanly. That's especially encouraging, considering manager Alex Cora has previously noted Devers' penchant for turning in spectacular plays while occasionally struggling with the more routine opportunities at the hot corner. "He's been great - you know what, I'm prouder with the way he's played defensively," Cora said of Devers. "Defensively, I think he's been outstanding. We've made some adjustments with positioning, where to catch the ball, routine-wise. We see it on a daily basis."

Moncada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and a second run scored in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the Nationals.

Moncada was back in the lineup after missing one game due to a sore leg and extended his hitting streak to six games with his 11th homer. He's batting .284/.343/.498 over 58 games, and it looks like the more aggressive plate approach he adopted coming into this season has proven largely effective over the long term.

Riley went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk during a 12-5 victory against the Pirates on Tuesday.

The rookie drove an outside breaking pitch right down the right-field line and over the 21-foot wall at PNC Park to give the Braves back the lead in the seventh. It was an impressive display of hitting. Riley has been excellent since he came up in the middle of May, slashing .324/.368/.732. He also has nine home runs, 25 RBI and 15 runs in 71 at-bats.

Rendon went 2-for-4 with a home run, five RBI and a walk during a 9-5 victory against the White Sox on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old continued his magnificent season Tuesday, posting his third straight game with multiple hits. With the 7-for-11 stretch to begin June, his season average is up to .335. He also has 32 extra-base hits with 27 walks this season, helping Rendon to a 1.111 OPS. He also has 11 homers, 40 RBI, 44 runs and one steal in 167 at-bats this season.

Anderson went 1-for-5 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and three runs scored Tuesday against the Brewers.

Anderson took Chase Anderson deep in the third inning on a solo home run to record his sixth long ball of the season. While his .369 slugging percentage across 246 plate appearances is uninspiring, he's managed seven extra-base hits -- including four home runs -- in his past 16 games. The lack of power and poor team context limit Anderson's upside, though his 9.8 percent walk rate adds value in some league formats.

Farmer is in Tuesday's starting lineup for the Reds against the Cardinals, playing second base and batting seventh. He's hitting .222/.269/.472 on the season.

Reds manager David Bell has taken to using Farmer at second base when they are facing a left-handed starter, as they are Tuesday in the form of Genesis Cabrera.

Moustakas (hand) returns to the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins, batting cleanup and playing second base.

Moustakas was hit in the hand by a pitch Saturday against the Pirates. He escaped with nothing worse than a bruise, but still wound up sitting for the entirety of Sunday's contest. He's back as the Brewers' second baseman now, with Travis Shaw returning from his wrist injury and Keston Hiura optioned to Triple-A San Antonio.

Moncada (leg) is starting at third base and hitting second Tuesday against the Nationals.

Moncada was held out of Sunday's starting lineup against Cleveland due to a sore leg, but following an off day Monday, he's been cleared to return, as expected. He's currently in the midst of a modest five-game hitting streak.

Candelario was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to left shoulder inflammation.

Candelario has been held out of the lineup for the last few days, though it's unknown when exactly he suffered the injury. He'll spend at least the next 10 days on the shelf, and a timetable for his return should surface in the coming days. Harold Castro was recalled from Triple-A Toledo to take Candelario's place.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a grand slam to help the Padres to an 8-2 win over the Phillies on Monday.

Machado provided the crucial blow in this contest, touching up Phillies reliever JD Hammer with a grand slam as part of a seven-run sixth inning for San Diego. It was the 10th long ball of the year and first since April 14 for Machado, who still has yet to find his superstar form in his first season with the Padres, as he's slashing .251/.340/.423 through 215 at-bats.
