Ezequiel Duran SS | TEX
Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Fills in at shortstop
Duran started at shortstop and went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Tigers.
Duran filled in for Corey Seager, who aggravated a hamstring injury Saturday. Texas manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday that Seager is operating at about 85 percent, per MLB.com. Seager is set to undergo more further evaluation Monday. Should that lead to another stint on the injured list, Duran would be in line for more opportunities.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Leaves yard again Sunday
McMahon went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, two walks and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.
McMahon capped off his strong weekend with a solo home run in the eighth to extend the Rockies lead. He's now homered four times this month and has raised his OPS to .736 after posting a .508 OPS in March/April. In his last seven games, McMahon is hitting .500/.607/1.091 with a 6:5 BB:K. He's notoriously been more effective in Denver and will aim to keep his hot bat going this week despite the Rockies having all their games on the road.

Matthew Lugo SS | LAA
Angels' Matthew Lugo: Crushes pinch-hit home run
Lugo went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.
Lugo stepped up to the plate as a pinch hitter in the ninth and delivered a 421-foot solo homer to left field. His first two major-league hits have now been an RBI triple and a solo home run in three games. It's still hard to envision Lugo carving out more consistent at-bats in the short term, but he definitely made some noise this past weekend and could be afforded some extra looks.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Breaks out of slump
Lewis went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's 7-6 win over San Francisco. He ended an 0-for-13 slump to begin the season.
Lewis slumped at the end of last season as well, so he was 0-for-36 since last September before Sunday. Lewis missed the team's first 35 games after suffering a strained hamstring late in spring training. He may finally be shaking off the rust with Sunday's performance.

Angels' Luis Rengifo: Taking seat Sunday
Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Tim Anderson will step in at second base while Rengifo hits the bench for the second time in the last four games. Though Rengifo still appears to be locked into a near-everyday role, he may have lost some job security after a slow start to May in which he's gone just 2-for-22 at the dish.

Emmanuel Rivera 3B | BAL
Orioles' Emmanuel Rivera: Handling everyday role
Rivera will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Angels.
Rivera will pick up his fifth straight start at third base and should operate as the Orioles' main option at the position until one or both of Jordan Westburg (hamstring) and Ramon Urias (hamstring) return from the injured list. Coby Mayo had represented Rivera's main competition for reps at the hot corner before Mayo was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.
