Urshela (leg) is starting at third base and hitting third Wednesday against the Orioles, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Urshela has been cleared to rejoin the starting lineup after missing the past two games with a bruised leg, which he suffered after fouling a ball off his leg twice over the weekend. The corner infielder has been dialed in at the dish since the All-Star break, slashing .348/.375/.696 with five home runs and nine doubles in 20 games. He'll face lefty John Means in his first game back.

Bregman went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs Tuesday in the Astros' 11-6 win over the Rockies.

Bregman has been one of several Astros to catch fire during the team's 5-0 start in August. The two-time All-Star has turned in multi-hit performances in four of those contests and sports a .545 on-base percentage over that stretch. He'll occupy third base and bat third Wednesday in the series finale.

Duffy is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Duffy will cede third base duties to Mike Brosseau as the Rays wrap up their series with Toronto. The two will likely continue to share time at the hot corner until the Rays return Yandy Diaz (foot) from the 10-day injured list.

Donaldson went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and a run Tuesday in the Braves' 12-7 win over the Twins.

Donaldson has reached base in 11 consecutive contests, slashing .326/.420/.628 with three home runs, four doubles and a 7:12 BB:K over that stretch. After an injury-ravaged 2018 campaign split between Toronto and Cleveland, Donaldson has proven to be an excellent buy-low investment for the Braves, with his improved health playing a key role in his 100-point recovery in OPS this season.

Davis went 2-for-3 with a double, walk and two runs Tuesday in the Mets' 5-0 win over the Marlins.

With 10 starts in the past 11 games and a .394/.488/.788 slash line over that stretch, Davis might have earned himself a full-time role the rest of the season even if injuries to Robinson Cano (hamstring) and Dominic Smith (foot) hadn't contributed to his spike in playing time. Davis will man left field and bat fifth Wednesday in what's already been a strong series versus Miami through the first three games.

LeMahieu went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks during a 9-4 victory against the Orioles on Tuesday.

This is already his third multi-hit game of August, and LeMahieu has three homers in the first six days of the month as well. His .336 average pops off the page, but LeMahieu is an MVP candidate because he also has a career-best 18 homers and 76 RBI from the leadoff spot. He also owns a .534 slugging percentage and 78 runs in 414 at-bats this season.

Escobar went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two runs scored, three RBI and a walk in the Diamondbacks' 8-4 win over the Phillies on Tuesday.

Escobar posted just a .762 OPS in July, but he's already cranked three long balls since the calendar flipped to August, including this fourth-inning blast off Jake Arrieta. It was his 25th homer of the season. Coming off his career-best campaign last year, Escobar has been even better in 2019, as he's now sporting an excellent .282/.339/.537 slash line and has knocked in 92 runs across 489 plate appearances.

Manager Ron Gardenhire said Tuesday that Candelario (thumb) would be out "a while," Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario landed on the injured list with a sprained left thumb Tuesday. Tests revealed no fracture, but the sprain is apparently a fairly serious one. The Tigers have yet to establish a target return date.

Newman isn't starting Tuesday's game against Milwaukee.

Newman registered three RBI in Monday's series opener, but he'll retreat to the bench Tuesday night. Erik Gonzalez is slated to bat eighth and start at shortstop with Newman out of the mix.

Urshela (leg soreness) is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Orioles.

He will miss his second game in a row after fouling a ball off his leg twice Sunday. Urshela was reportedly available off the bench in Monday's game, so the same likely holds for this contest. DJ LeMahieu is starting at third base while Mike Ford starts at first base, hitting seventh.
