Senzel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Cleveland.

Though Senzel isn't known to be dealing with an injury, he'll remain on the bench for a second game in a row after he was left out of the starting nine for Saturday's 3-2 win. Senzel's benching appears to be performance-related, as he's gone hitless in 16 at-bats over the Reds' last six games. Tyler Naquin will make another start in center field in place of Senzel.

Moustakas (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Cleveland.

He'll be on the bench for a third straight game while he continues to recover from a non-COVID-19-related illness. With an off day on tap Monday, the Reds are presumably hopeful Moustakas will be ready to return to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener versus the Diamondbacks.

Toro started at third base and went 1-for-4 in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Mariners.

Toro has started two of three games at third base since the Astros placed Alex Bregman on the COVID-19 protocols list. With Bregman unlikely to return before Thursday, Toro should be in line for at-bats in the short term. He's gone 1-for-7 with a walk over his two starts.

Escobar went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Nationals.

Escobar took Erick Fedde deep in the sixth inning, bringing the Diamondbacks within two runs. It was the sixth home run and 10th RBI in nine games for the infielder, who has turned around a 1-for-21 start to the season.

Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Saturday's win over the Phillies.

Arenado blasted a two-run shot off JoJo Romero in the third inning, and the star third baseman now has four homers on the season. The nine-year veteran began the season on a nine-game hitting streak and has hit safely in all but two games thus far, so it's clear he has begun his St. Louis tenure sizzling hot.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Reds.

Ramirez got aboard in the fifth inning on a single and stole second. The third baseman is already up to three steals in 14 games this year. Ramirez has added three homers, seven RBI, five runs scored and a .231/.305/.423 slash line through 59 plate appearances.

Davis is not in the lineup for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rockies, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Davis won't be asked to play two games in one day immediately after returning from the injured list. He went 1-for-3 in the first game of the day but will sit in favor of Jonathan Villar in the nightcap.

Machado (back/shoulder) will bat third and play third base Saturday against the Dodgers.

Machado was banged up in multiple ways during Friday's game but was able to remain in the contest, hustling around the bases in the ninth inning to score the run that sent the game to extra innings. Despite the knocks, he'll remain in the lineup against the division-leading Dodgers on Saturday.

Rendon (groin) has not resumed baseball activities since being placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

The 30-year-old is eligible to return from the injured list Wednesday, though it's unclear if he'll be fully recovered from the groin strain by that point. Rendon likely will need to resume baseball activities within the next couple days to have a chance of being activated Wednesday.

LeMahieu is manager Aaron Boone's primary option to play first base while Luke Voit (knee) remains out, Max Goodman of Sports Illustrated reports.

LeMahieu led off and started at first base again Saturday -- his fourth start at the position in his past five games. Meanwhile, Rougned Odor has taken over at second base to account for LeMahieu's shift to first. Jay Bruce opened the season as Voit's replacement but is batting only .118. LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run Saturday against Tampa Bay and is slashing .288/.383/.423 on the campaign. With Voit likely still weeks away from a return, LeMahieu could see enough time at first to gain eligibility at the position in fantasy leagues.
