Cam Collier 3B | CIN
Reds' Cam Collier: Conducting rehab in ACL
Collier (thumb) is batting .394/.524/.636 over 42 plate appearances across 10 rehab games in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.
Collier began the assignment May 19 and will eventually return to action for High-A Dayton after having spent all season on the injured list while recovering from left thumb surgery. He's played mostly at first base (seven games) during his rehab assignment, with one start coming at third base and two at designated hitter. Collier spent most of his first three seasons of professional ball at third base, but the organization may be preparing him to move across the diamond in 2025.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | NYY
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Begins rehab assignment
Candelario (back) started at third base and went 1-for-2 with a walk, a double and an RBI in a rehab game with the ACL Reds on Monday.
Candelario opened a rehab assignment and played five innings in the field. He's expected to remain with the ACL Reds for at least one more game before moving to Triple-A Louisville. The corner infielder/DH is not expected to step into a starting role upon his return, but that could change depending on injuries. A spot at third base could be waiting until Noelvi Marte (oblique) is ready to come off the IL.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Suffers apparent hamstring injury
Vientos appeared to sustain a right hamstring injury during the 10th inning of Monday's game against the Dodgers, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.
Vientos didn't make it far out of the batter's box on a groundout in the top half of the 10th, and he was seen grabbing his right hamstring as he walked gingerly to the dugout. He didn't start but pinch hit for designated hitter Jared Young, so Vientos didn't need to play the field in the bottom half of the inning. Vientos is presumably headed for further testing as the Mets look to determine the extent of the injury.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Out of lineup again Monday
Lewis is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics.
It's the third time over the Twins' last six contests that Lewis -- who is in a 0-for-30 slump at the plate -- has been out of the lineup. Brooks Lee is covering third base and batting third as Minnesota opens up a four-game series versus the Athletics.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Playing time slipping
Vientos is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
Vientos might be slipping into a short-side platoon, as this is the second straight game and the fourth time over the last seven contests against a righty that he's been absent from the lineup. Jared Young is at designated hitter and Brett Baty is at third base for the Mets in Monday's series opener.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Back to IL with knee inflammation
The Angels placed Moncada on the 10-day injured list Monday with right knee inflammation.
Moncada injured the knee last Wednesday and had missed two of the last three contests before the Angels decided to make a roster move. It's the second trip to the IL this season for Moncada, who previously missed a month of action with a thumb injury. Luis Rengifo is likely to see the bulk of the starts at third base while Moncada is out.

Caleb Durbin 3B | MIL
Brewers' Caleb Durbin: Getting night off
Durbin is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Andruw Monasterio will get the nod at third base in the series opener while Durbin heads to the bench for the first time since May 13. Though the rookie had struggled mightily over his first month in the big leagues after getting called up from Triple-A Nashville in April 18, the Brewers' commitment to him as an everyday player has begun to pay dividends. Over his last 13 games, Durbin has slashed .313/.370/.458 with four stolen bases, eight RBI and seven runs.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Sitting again Monday
Moncada is not in the lineup for Monday's contest in Boston, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Moncada returned to the lineup Saturday after missing one game with a sore knee, but he has now been absent from the lineup for two straight contests. It's not clear whether he's had a setback or if the Angels are just being proactive with his rest. Luis Rengifo is at third base and Scott Kingery is at second base for the second day in a row.
