Rendon was diagnosed with a contusion after X-rays on his injured left knee returned negative following Monday's 7-3 loss to the Rays, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Rendon went 1-for-3 with a solo home run before he departed in the eighth inning after fouling a ball off his leg. Though he required assistance off the field, Rendon was fortunate to avoid structural damage to the knee. The Angels are currently labeling Rendon as day-to-day and could send him for more tests, so his availability for Tuesday's game would seem to be in doubt.

Arenado went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in Monday's 6-5 win over the Mets.

The third baseman took Joey Lucchesi deep in the third inning, snapping his 14-game homerless drought. Arenado has been productive to begin his first season with St. Louis, hitting .265 with five home runs and 21 RBI through 29 games.

Rendon went deep off Tyler Glasnow in the sixth inning but was helped off the field after fouling a ball off his knee in the eighth. He has two homers and eight RBI during his current five-game hitting streak. The 30-year-old will be questionable for Tuesday's contest against Tampa Bay.

Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Monday's 6-5 victory over the Rangers.

Donaldson helped his club build an early lead, driving in a run in the bottom of the third inning on a double to left field. He's now registered three doubles and two RBI in his last two contests, raising his batting average to .283 through 16 games in 2021.

Segura (quadriceps) will embark on a rehab assignment this week, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

It's not clear exactly when the assignment will begin or how long it will last, but Segura should be back from his strained right quadriceps before too long. He was hitting .333/.359/.450 through 17 games prior to the injury.

Davis (hand) landed on the 10-day injured list Monday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Davis left Saturday's game against the Phillies with a sprained left hand, and the issue is evidently serious enough to sideline him for at least 10 days. Jonathan Villar will step into the lineup in his absence, batting seventh and playing third base Monday against the Cardinals. Trevor Hildenberger was recalled in a corresponding move.

Peterson (thumb) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Peterson has been on the shelf for just over the minimum 10 days, so he likely won't need much time to ramp up in the minors before being ready to return from the injured list. The 30-year-old will likely serve as Milwaukee's top utility man once he's reinstated.

Moustakas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, and an additional RBI in Sunday's 13-12 win over the Cubs in 10 innings.

Moustakas supplied one of five Reds long balls on the day and reached base three times in total after also being struck by a pitch. The 32-year-old improved his slash line to .250/.353/.500 after the big day, and he should continue to pile up counting stats while occupying a spot in the heart of a Reds lineup that has been one of the majors' stronger units this season.

The Pirates aren't putting a timeline for return with Hayes (wrist, hand), though he will travel with the team during its seven-day road trip that starts Monday, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

General manager Ben Cherington said Sunday that Hayes is dealing with discomfort in both his lower hand and wrist -- previously it was thought that only his wrist was hurt. Cherington mentioned Hayes will continue to receive "conservative care," though he hit soft-toss over the weekend. "As much as we want, nobody wants to be out there more than he does," the general manager said of Hayes. "I know he's champing at the bit but we've got to do it right. We're talking about a part of the body that's really important for a hitter."

Suarez went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Sunday's 13-12 win over the Cubs.

Suarez knocked his fifth home run of the year with a solo shot in the third inning before singling in a pair of runs in the sixth. The 29-year-old entered Sunday in a 1-for-31 slump over his last eight games and hadn't produced a multi-hit performance since April 10. He's up to 12 RBI and nine extra-base hits through 101 at-bats this season.
