Sosa was removed from Wednesday's game against the Mets with an apparent leg injury, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Sosa appeared to suffer the injury when he was caught stealing during the fifth inning, and he initially remained in the contest before being replaced in the field. He should be considered day-to-day since the specifics of the injury are unclear.

Peterson went 0-for-1 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

While he didn't get the start, Peterson still played a huge role in the Brewers' come-from-behind win. He pinch hit for Mike Brosseau in the ninth inning, drew a walk off Kenley Jansen and then scored the tying run, before crossing the plate with the game-winning run in the 11th on Keston Hiura's walkoff homer. Peterson should be able to keep a consistent role at third base while Luis Urias is covering shortstop for Willy Adames (ankle), and while the veteran utility player is only batting .224 through 87 plate appearances on the year, it comes with three homers, six steals, nine RBI and 16 runs.

Riley went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Brewers.

The third baseman took Corbin Burnes deep in the third to get Atlanta on the board. The blast snapped a 13-game homer drought for Riley, a stretch during which he hit only .157 (8-for-51) with a single RBI. He carries a .799 OPS with eight home runs and 18 RBI through 37 games.

Rendon went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and two walks in a loss to Texas on Tuesday.

Rendon gave the Angels an early lead with his two-run shot to left field in the third inning, and he plated the game's final run with a single in the ninth. It was the veteran third baseman's third multi-hit performance over his past six games, a stretch during which he's slashing .400/.478/.650 with two doubles and five RBI. Rendon is slashing a more modest .230/.331/.405 across 148 plate appearances overall this season.

Duffy (face) isn't starting Wednesday against the Rangers, Arianna Vedia of MLB.com reports.

Duffy exited Tuesday's matchup against Texas due to a facial laceration, and he won't be in the lineup a day later. Whether he's available off the bench remains to be seen, but he should be considered day-to-day for now.

Wisdom isn't starting Wednesday against the Pirates.

Wisdom hit just .111 with a home run, a double, two runs and 10 strikeouts over the last five games, and he'll get a breather after drawing eight consecutive starts. Christopher Morel will start at the hot corner and bat eighth.

LeMahieu isn't starting Wednesday against the Orioles.

LeMahieu will get his first day off since May 8 after he went 1-for-12 with two RBI, a run, a walk and five strikeouts over the last three games. Gleyber Torres will start at second base and bat fifth.

Bregman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bregman will take a seat after he was one of the quieter performers in the Astros' 13-4 rout of Boston on Tuesday, as he finished the day 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. The 28-year-old is walking at a 16 percent clip in 2022 -- the second-highest rate of his career -- but his .230 average, zero stolen bases and five home runs in 154 plate appearances have made him a relatively disappointing fantasy contributor even while he's shown a discerning eye at the plate. Aledmys Diaz will check in at third base for Bregman, who is sitting for just the third time in the Astros' 38 games on the season.

Senzel (illness) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.

Senzel has been on the COVID-19 injured list since May 4, but he's been cleared to return to game action with the minor-league club. Manager David Bell previously said that the Reds are hopeful Senzel will be able to rejoin the team for the start of the next homestead, which begins May 23 against the Cubs. If that's the case, the 26-year-old should appear in several minor-league games before likely rejoining the big-league club early next week.

Rafaela hit for the cycle for High-A Greenville on Tuesday, posting a single, double, triple and home run in five at-bats against Hickory. He drove in two runs and scored three.

He's now cruising along with a .312/.353/.567 batting line accompanied by eight homers and 10 steals. Rafaela cooled off for a little while after his red-hot start, but he's on another heater now, having hit .366 across his last nine contests. The electric 21-year-old doesn't walk much (4.7 percent), but his strikeout rate is a reasonable 22.7 percent. His well-rounded skill set and defensive versatility (he's mostly played center field this year, but he's seen time at second and short as well) should send him flying up the prospect lists when they get their midseason update.
