Reynolds is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Reynolds will head to the bench after going 0-for-10 with a walk and a stolen base while starting each of Cincinnati's last three games. The Reds will go with Brandon Drury and Kyle Farmer as their starters in the middle infield in the series finale in Cleveland.

Miranda is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics.

Miranda is on the bench for the third time in five games and appears to have lost hold of an everyday role following Luis Arraez's recent return from the COVID-19 injured list. The rookie has thus far had a rough introduction to the majors, hitting .096 with a 20.4 percent strikeout rate across 54 plate appearances. If playing time grows more scarce for Miranda, he could be headed back to Triple-A St. Paul in short order.

Peterson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

With Willy Adames (ankle) moving to the 10-day injured list and Luis Urias likely to take over as the everyday shortstop in the short term, Peterson is expected to occupy the strong side of a platoon at third base. However, with southpaw Max Fried on the hill Wednesday for Atlanta, the lefty-hitting Peterson will take a seat in favor of Mike Brosseau.

Escobar went 3-for-7 with a walk and a solo home run across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

After reaching base three times in the matinee, Escobar slugged a solo shot in the fourth inning of the nightcap off Steven Matz. The homer was only his second of the season, and the veteran infielder's production in the twin bill was an encouraging sign after he slashed a brutal .141/.212/.192 with only two RBI over his prior 20 games.

McMahon went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Giants.

McMahon has been productive throughout the team's current homestand, as he's tallied four multi-hit performances in his last five starts. He's also collected two home runs, seven RBI and six runs scored in that span while hitting .400. Despite a 28.3 percent strikeout rate, McMahon has maintained a .268/.359/.441 line across 145 plate appearances on the campaign.

The Twins optioned Lewis to Triple-A St. Paul following Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

With Carlos Correa (finger) due to return from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Lewis' time as Minnesota's everyday shortstop was set to end, and the organization decided the 22-year-old was best off playing on a regular basis at Triple-A rather than more sporadically as a super-utility man in the big leagues. Lewis ended his first stint in the majors with a bang, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Tuesday to bring his OPS up to .889 through his first 11 MLB games. According to Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Lewis will see most of his action at shortstop as a he returns to Triple-A, though the Twins plan to move him around and give him some exposure to different positions in an effort to increase his pathways to at-bats when he makes his return to the big club.

Urias went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Yankees.

Urias got the Orioles on the board with a solo shot in the second inning. In the fourth, he forced an error that led to another run scoring. The 27-year-old has moved over to shortstop in the last two games to cover for Jorge Mateo (shoulder/chest), but he'll likely move back to third base full-time once his teammate is ready to play. Urias has hit safely in 11 of 14 games in May, though only two of those have been multi-hit efforts. He's up to a .212/.257/.317 slash line with two homers, nine RBI, eight runs scored and five doubles through 113 plate appearances.

Devers went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run in a 13-4 loss to Houston on Tuesday.

Devers opened the scoring with a solo home run in the first off Houston starter Jose Urquidy, doubled and scored in the third and tacked on a single in the fourth for his second three-hit game in his last three. The 25-year-old has an 11-game hit streak going, during which he's 20-for-45 with nine extra-base hits. Devers is currently fifth in MLB with a .333 average.

Duffy was removed from Tuesday's win over the Angels with a facial laceration after colliding with Adolis Garcia during the eighth inning, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Duffy was apparently mostly unaffected from the collision itself, but the ball popped out of his glove and struck him in the face, resulting in the laceration. The 31-year-old appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day.

Segura went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

The shortstop reached on an error in the bottom of the second and subsequently stole second base. Segura now has five swipes on the season, four of which have come in the last five games. He also extended his hit streak to 13 consecutive games Tuesday, adding a single in the bottom of the seventh. Over that stretch, Segura has batted .417 with four homers, nine RBI, 12 runs and four stolen bases. The hot stretch has raised his season-long batting average from .227 to .307 over 114 at-bats.
