Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Leaves Tuesday after getting hit in head by pitch
Segura left Tuesday's game under his own power after getting hit in the head by a 96 mph fastball, MLB.com's Steve Gilbert reports.
He was down on the ground briefly, but quickly got up and walked off while being replaced by a pinch-runner (Michael Bourn). The fact that he was up quickly and able to walk off under his own power is encouraging. Segura was hit in the head by a pitch in May of 2015 and dodged a concussion, so hopefully the same holds true this time around.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Not in the starting lineup Monday
Suarez is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
Mired in a slump that includes 10 strikeouts in his last 11 at-bats, Suarez will be spared a night in the starting lineup against Clayton Kershaw on Monday. Jordan Pacheco is making a spot start at third base in Suarez's absence.

Cody Asche 3B | NYM
Phillies' Cody Asche: Rehab transferred to Double-A
Asche (oblique) had his rehab assignment transferred to Double-A Reading on Sunday, Steve Patton of the Reading Eagle reports.
Asche went 0-for-4 in his first game for Reading after going 3-for-18 with a home run in five games with High-A Clearwater. The Phillies have not announced a plan for when Asche will come off the disabled list, but it will have to happen by the end of the month as there is a maximum of 20 days that he can be on a rehab assignment.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Two hits and three RBI in Sunday's win
Rendon went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, a run scored and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Marlins.
He's definitely found his groove at the plate, and Rendon now has four multi-hit performances in his last five games while hitting .405 (17-for-42) over his last 12 outings. He hasn't homered since May 6, but six of those last 17 hits have gone for extra bases so it seems only a matter of time before he starts putting balls over the wall instead of into the gaps.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Swiped fifth base against Cubs
Duffy went 1-for-4 on Saturday, swiping his fifth bag of the year in a win over the Cubs.
It has undoubtedly been a disappointing sophomore season for Duffy. With only third-base eligibility in most leagues, he has barely been worthy of a roster spot in standard formats. The increase in steals has been the only positive for Duffy so far, as he's on pace to swipe 20 bags, which is more on par with his career minor league totals. Looking ahead, his .260 BABIP is over 70 points lower than last year's mark, and he's striking out less and walking more. This tells us that he has been getting unlucky and things should turn around eventually.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Stays hot with another multi-hit outing Friday
Rendon went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in Friday's 4-1 victory over the Marlins.
That's three straight multi-hit efforts for the 25-year-old, and he's now reached safely in 14 straight games as well. Rendon has displayed solid plate discipline in May, drawing 12 of his 21 free passes on the season during this month. He brings a bit of everything to the table, as he's also swiped four bags and smashed a pair of homers in May.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Pops league-leading 14th home run
Arenado was 3-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in a losing effort against the Pirates on Friday night.
A gold-glove third baseman, with a lethal bat, there just aren't too many things he does wrong. Arenado now has 14 home runs and 34 RBI to go with a strong .314 average, and a .391 OBP. He remains one of the most productive fantasy players, and shows no signs of letting up.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Continuing to dig out of early hole
Rendon went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in a 9-1 victory against the Mets on Thursday.
After knocking in just six runs in his first 39 games, Rendon's got back-to-back two-RBI efforts and has racked up 13 hits in his last nine outings. Even so, the double was his first extra-base hit in more than a week, so we're still waiting on his pop to materialize again. That said, his improved approach (21:29 BB:K) combined with his ongoing warming trend has to offer fantasy owners some hope for the future.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Not in Thursday's lineup
LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Cardinals, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
LeMahieu has been excellent for the Rockies this season, slashing .301/.361/.436 with 13 RBI and five stolen bases, but he hasn't gotten a day off since May 4. He'll get an opportunity to rest Thursday, with Daniel Descalso making his first start of the season by filling in for him at second base.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: On another power binge
Suarez went just 1-for-5 against Cleveland on Wednesday, but the one hit was a three-run homer -- his third in the last four games.
He's been a bit of a whiff machine, having struck out six times in that span and 13 times in his last seven games, but Suarez has officially found the ol' power stroke again. His current .253 average reflects what we should expect on that front, but the Venezuelan's combination of shortstop eligibility and power makes him a pretty decent poor man's Trevor Story.
