Braves' Jace Peterson: Gets start in left field Wednesday
Peterson will start in left field and bat eighth in the order Wednesday against the Marlins, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
With Matt Kemp (hamstring) hitting the disabled list, it looks like Peterson will be the club's primary option in left field for the time being, at least against right-handed pitching. Even so, Peterson's value remains mostly limited to NL-only and deeper mixed leagues, as he lacks power and hasn't run much since arriving in the big leagues after routinely racking up high steals totals in the minors.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Takes seat Tuesday
Rendon is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Cardinals, Dan Kolko of MASN reports.
Rendon is off to a slow start, going 3-for-25 with just one RBI through six games, so he'll get the day off to rest and straighten things off. Stephen Drew will slide to third while Wilmer Difo gets the nod at shortstop.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Homers in win Monday
Suarez went 1-for-2 with a homer, three walks and a steal in Monday's win over the Pirates. One of the walks came with the bases loaded in the Reds' three-run first inning.
The homer gave the Reds home runs in each of their first seven games to begin the season. Suarez is off to a good start, hitting .350/.500/.750 in the early going.

Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Tough day from No. 2 spot
Rendon went 0-for-6, but did pick up his first RBI of the season, in Monday's 14-6 rout of the Cardinals.
With Trea Turner (hamstring) on the DL, Rendon has moved up into the two-hole in the order but gone 0-for-10 in two games since the shift. The rest of the Nats' offense is on fire right now, so manager Dusty Baker can afford to be patient with the 26-year-old, but if he continues to struggle Rendon could fall back down to a less fantasy-friendly spot in the lineup.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Returns to action Monday
LeMahieu is back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres, Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports reports.
LeMahieu received a rest day for Sunday's outing, so it comes as no surprise to see him back in action Monday. Last year's NL leader in batting average, he'll hit second and get the nod at second base as he looks to elevate his current .160 mark.

Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Not in lineup Sunday
LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
The reigning batting champion is off to an ice-cold start to begin the 2017 season (2-for-23) and will receive the day off Sunday. He will be replaced by Alexi Amarista.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Homers off Kershaw in Saturday's win
Arenado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Saturday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.
Arenado crushed a 433-foot home run off Clayton Kershaw in the bottom of the first inning and singled in the sixth before a Mark Reynolds long ball brought him around to score. Though the star third baseman seemed out of sync during the World Baseball Classic, he has looked anything but to start the MLB campaign, collecting at least one hit in all six games for a .364 average to go along with a pair of homers, six runs scored and three RBI.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Braves' Jace Peterson: Gets start in left Sunday
Peterson is starting in left field and batting eighth, replacing Matt Kemp (hamstring) during Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Kemp will miss his second straight game with hamstring tightness, so Peterson gets the chance to man left field Sunday against Gerrit Cole and the Pirates. Kemp is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday, so Peterson's starting services won't be needed for long.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Not in Friday's lineup
Suarez is out of the lineup Friday against the Cardinals.
Suarez began the season hitting in the five-hole, but after only garnering two hits in the first three games of the season, he'll take a seat on the bench for a night off. Scooter Gennett will take his place at the hot corner and bat seventh.
