Senzel will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right index finger.

Senzel suffered the injury during Friday's game with Triple-A Louisville. He is expected to be fully recovered by spring training, with a chance that he will be back in action for the Arizona Fall League or winter ball if the organization elects to go that route. Across 44 games with the Bats, the infielder hit .310/.378/.509 with six home runs, 25 RBI and eight stolen bases. This is obviously an unfortunate setback for the Reds' top prospect, especially since he was likely to receive a big-league call-up later on this summer.

Arenado went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run to help the Rockies to an 11-3 victory over the Marlins on Friday.

Arenado continued his recent ridiculous tear in the opening game of this series against the Marlins, blasting his 17th long ball of the year in the fourth inning off Wei-Yin Chen to mark his fourth straight game with a homer. He now has 10 hits in his last 17 at-bats to go along with the four homers and 11 RBI, bringing his slash line up to a potent .323/.410/.598 through 266 at-bats on the season.

Suarez went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-3 win over the Cubs.

He continues to swing a hot bat, extending his hitting streak to 12 games with Friday's performance -- a streak that features five homers and 12 RBI to go along with a .341 (15-for-44) batting average. Suarez now has 16 home runs on the season, and his .975 OPS is nearly 150 points better than last year's career high.

Arenado went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a two-run double in a 6-4 win over the Mets on Thursday.

Arenado launched his 16th long ball of the season in the first inning before doubling in the second, providing the Rockies all the offense they'd need to pick up the victory. The 27-year-old slugger is absolutely mashing over the last three games, hitting .538 (7-for-13) with three home runs and nine RBI. On the year, Arenado is slashing .317/.403/.584 with 51 RBI along with the 16 home runs.

McMahon was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The Rockies need a fresh bullpen arm after sending out six relievers in Wednesday's 10-8 win over the Mets, so McMahon will swap places with right-hander Yency Almonte. The Rockies are set to face a string of left-handed pitchers, so the move will allow McMahon to see consistent at-bats with the Isotopes. He's hitting just .211/.283/.337 through 47 games with the big club this season.

Kieboom was promoted to Double-A Harrisburg on Thursday, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.

Kieboom continued to exceed expectations at the High-A level, slashing .298/.386/.494 with 11 home runs, 46 RBI and six stolen bases for Potomac in 61 games this season. The infielder will likely spend the remainder of the 2018 campaign learning the ropes at Harrisburg. Though he's a fine defender at shortstop, Kieboom's eventual home in the majors may wind up being second or third base.

Anderson went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Giants.

Anderson came through with an RBI single in the ninth inning as the Marlins mounted a late rally, but he was left stranded on second as the tying run to end the game. The 25-year-old is hitting .333 in June and leads the Marlins in both RBI (36) and runs scored (41).

Farmer was sent back down to Triple-A Oklahoma City following Wednesday's game.

Farmer will return to the minors after joining the big-league club this past weekend to provide some extra depth while the Dodgers continue to deal with injuries. This move likely signals the return of Chase Utley, who is set to come off the DL (thumb) prior to Friday's game against the Mets. As for Farmer, the 27-year-old will continue to receive regular at-bats with Oklahoma City.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Tigers.

His sixth-inning blast gave the Reds a 3-2 lead that they wouldn't relinquish. Suarez now has 15 homers on the year, and his .295/.382/.571 slash line puts him well on his way to career highs in all three categories.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy said "all went well" Tuesday when Longoria underwent surgery to repair a fractured left hand, Martin Oppegaard of MLB.com reports.

Longoria will head to the Giants' spring training facility in Arizona before returning to San Francisco over the weekend to begin his rehab, which is expected to last around 6-to-8 weeks. With Longoria likely on the shelf until at least early August, Pablo Sandoval and Alen Hanson are expected to share duties at third base.
