Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Books trip to AFL
Riley will be one of eight Braves prospects to take part in the Arizona Fall League this year, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The team's 19-year-old phenom, Ronald Acuna, headlines the group, but Riley -- the Braves' No. 12 fantasy prospect -- earned his spot by showing improved plate discipline at High-A before slashing .292/.360/.448 with six homers in 41 games following a promotion to Double-A Mississippi. The 20-year-old third baseman is still growing into his power, but whether it plays in the majors will depend on how much contact he's able to make as he works his way up the ladder.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Drives in four Tuesday
Rendon went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and four RBI in Tuesday's win over the Marlins.
His bases-loaded double into the right-center field gap gave the Nats plenty of insurance runs in an eventual 8-3 victory. Rendon is now slashing .323/.405/.484 over his last 18 games, and while he's only homered once in that stretch he's still buoyed his fantasy value with two steals, nine runs and 11 RBI.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Crushes No. 30 on Tuesday
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.
The no-doubt blast was Arenado's seventh in August and 30th of the year. His .307 batting average and .952 OPS remain career highs, and he retook the league's RBI lead from Giancarlo Stanton with Tuesday's performance, putting him at 111 for the season -- and on pace for his third straight season with 130 or more.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Dealing with illness
Senzel hasn't played for Double-A Pensacola since Thursday due to an illness, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
The Reds haven't moved Senzel to the 7-day disabled list as a result of the issue, so it's not expected that he'll be sidelined for much longer. Senzel, who is regarded as one of the top position prospects in the Cincinnati system, looks ready for a tougher challenge after slashing .340/.413/.560 in the Southern League since receiving a promotion from High-A Daytona in June. However, since Senzel isn't on the 40-man roster and the non-contending Reds aren't eager to start his MLB service clock, don't count on the 22-year-old to receive a September callup.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Gets day off Sunday
Suarez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.
After his 10-game hitting streak came to an end Saturday, Suarez will be granted a day off in the series finale for maintenance purposes, allowing Jose Peraza to pick up another start in the infield. With Suarez slashing a cool .333/.481/.718 in August, he'll make for an easy activation in any format heading into the upcoming week.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Homers twice in Saturday victory
LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with a pair of solo homers Saturday against the Braves.
LeMahieu now has six homers on the season after leaving the yard in the fifth and ninth innings of a road victory. Despite the homers, his primary fantasy asset is his .315 batting average.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Sitting Friday
Rendon is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.
It sounds like the Nationals may have been held up getting back to Washington after their series in Houston wrapped up Thursday night. A number of veterans are sitting, Rendon included, but Rendon should be available off the bench and back in the lineup for Saturday's game. He is batting just .224/.317/.373 so far in August after a .392/.500/.689 month of July.

Carlos Asuaje 3B | LAD
Padres' Carlos Asuaje: Collects three hits Thursday
Asuaje went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals.
It was the 25-year-old's third multi-hit game over his last five contests, bringing his batting average up to .293 on the year. Asuaje has served as the Friars' primary second baseman and two-hole hitter, but his lack of power (.387 slugging percentage) and speed limits his value to very deep and NL-only formats.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Goes yard again in Kansas City
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and a walk Wednesday in Kansas City.
Arenado hit his 29th home run in the first inning, raising his RBI total to a league-leading 108 in the process. The star third baseman is far from just a Coors Field product, as 14 of his 29 long balls have come on the road. Two of those road homers have come in the first two stops on this six-game trip.

Kyle Farmer 3B | ATL
Dodgers' Kyle Farmer: Recalled from Triple-A
Farmer was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
With Yasmani Grandal serving as the Dodgers' primary catcher, it's unlikely that Farmer will see consistent time behind the dish. He's been effective when called upon in the Show this season, although his usage has been very limited. Over 10 games, Farmer has logged just 10 at-bats, over which he's picked up four hits.
