Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Sets record with five XBH on Sunday
Ramirez went 5-for-5 with three doubles, two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in Sunday's 11-1 rout of the Tigers.
He became the 13th player in MLB history, and the first switch hitter, to smack five extra-base hits in the same game, but he needed a lot of help to do it as both his homers were deflected over the fence by Tigers outfielders. Ramirez now has 22 home runs on the year, doubling last season's previous career high, and his 47 doubles and 89 runs are also new personal bests. Next up is RBI, where he sits just 10 back of his 76 from 2016.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Indians' Giovanny Urshela: Takes seat Sunday
Urshela is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers.
Urshela had started the last four games at either third base or shortstop, but both Yandy Diaz and Francisco Lindor will handle duties at those respective positions Sunday and still appear to be ahead of Urshela on the depth chart. However, with Urshela having impressed over those four games with five hits and three RBI in 12 at-bats, manager Terry Francona could be motivated to find the 25-year-old semi-regular at-bats in September by taking advantage of Diaz's versatility and deploying him at positions other than the hot corner.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Begins rehab work
Moncada (leg) hit in the batting cage and fielded grounders Saturday, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Saturday's activity was the first baseball work Moncada has performed since landing on the 10-day disabled list Aug. 25. While he's not expected to be activated when eligible, the initiation of on-field work is a sign he could rejoin the active roster by the end of the week.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Astros' J.D. Davis: Hits third homer in Saturday win
Davis went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Satuday's win over the Mets.
While this was Davis' third homer in his past seven games, his playing time projects to dry up significantly with Carlos Correa (thumb) returning Sunday. Davis will likely slide into a bench role and carry very little fantasy value moving forward.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Starting at 3B
Candelario is starting at third base and hitting sixth Saturday against the Indians.
His first start with the Tigers comes against Corey Kluber, which obviously won't be an easy assignment for the 23-year-old switch hitter. It's starting to look like the Tigers are clearing the way for Candelario to serve as the primary third baseman down the stretch. Nick Castellanos is starting at DH in this one, but was also getting schooled in right field prior to the game, so it seems like a position change may be in the works. Candelario hit .265/.343/.484 with 15 home runs in 407 at-bats across stops with the Cubs' and Tigers' Triple-A affiliates.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Recalled from Toledo
Candelario was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Friday.
Candelario has only ever played third base or designated hitter with the Mud Hens, so if he gets starts, it will likely be at one of those two positions. He is one of the Tigers' best hitting prospects, but he is not necessarily the type of hitter who could make a big fantasy impact over a month, as he doesn't have plus power or speed. That said, if it seems like the Tigers are intent on him playing almost every day down the stretch, he could become useful in deeper formats. He hit .265/.343/.484 with 15 home runs in 407 at-bats across stops with the Cubs' and Tigers' Triple-A affiliates.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Needs more time
Moncada (leg) will not be ready to be activated off the 10-day disabled list when eligible Sept. 4, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Moncada has been staying off the leg, but is set to begin baseball activities this weekend. In the meantime, the White Sox have an assortment of second base fill-ins, including Tyler Saladino, Yolmer Sanchez, Alen Hanson and Leury Garcia.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Orioles' Manny Machado: Four hits in Friday's extra-inning win
Machado went 4-for-6 and scored the game's only run in Friday's extra-inning win over the Blue Jays.
It's Machado's fourth multi-hit performance in his last five games as he continues to erase a disappointing first half from everyone's memory. The 25-year-old now has a .273 batting average -- the highest it's been since April 8 -- and his 30 homers and 88 RBI are right in line with preseason expectations.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Royals' Mike Moustakas: Launches 36th homer of season
Moustakas cracked a three-run home run for his lone hit in the Royals' win over the Twins on Friday.
"Moose" has been mired in a deep slump, as he holds a lowly .205 batting average since his previous homer August 15. His 36 long balls and .857 OPS on the season are certainly nothing to scoff at, but Moustakas' recent dry spell is a tough pill to swallow at this point in the season, especially given that he hadn't notched an extra-base hit for an entire week prior to Friday night.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Out for Game 2
Ramirez is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader in Detroit.
He went 1-for-4 in the matinee, and is now hitting .302/.356/.529 on the season. Erik Gonzalez is starting at second base and hitting ninth while Yandy Diaz gets the start at third base, hitting second.
