Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Royals' Mike Moustakas: Turns in three-hit showing Friday
Moustakas went 3-for-4 in Friday's 2-1 win over the Diamondbacks.
With only three home runs in 82 at-bats in September, Moustakas' power production has dipped down the stretch, but it's still been enough for him to establish a new franchise record with 38 long balls on the campaign. The third baseman is at least helping fantasy owners down the stretch in the batting-average department, with his three hits Friday bringing his mark up to .324 over his last 10 contests.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Continues September hot streak
Moncada went 2-for-4 in Friday's 10-1 loss to the Indians.
Moncada's wobbly start in the majors when he was called up in July is a distant memory thanks to a very productive finish to the season. The rookie's hitting .313/.375/.537 with five home runs, 11 RBI and 18 runs scored over his last 19 games. The future is now for Moncada, who will return to the majors for the start of 2018 as the White Sox's starting second baseman.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Perfect at plate in big win Friday
Ramirez went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBI and a walk in Cleveland's 10-1 victory over the White Sox on Friday.
The infielder was the catalyst for the Indians' offense in this one, helping the team chase White Sox starter Mike Pelfrey in the third inning. Ramirez now has 55 doubles and a .953 OPS on the season, thanks in part to the .411/.451/.889 slash line he's produced in his past 30 games.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Drives in three in Friday's win
Bregman went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's victory over the Red Sox.
The young infielder provided all the offense for Houston in this one, as his RBI single in the third and his two-run shot in the fifth were enough to outpace the stymied Red Sox offense. Bregman has a 1.275 OPS during his current seven-game hitting streak and now holds a .287/.355/.480 slash line on the season.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson: Being pursued by St. Louis
The Cardinals plan to make a strong push to acquire Donaldson at the conclusion of the 2017 season, Bob Nightengale of USA Today Sports reports.
Donaldson, who is in the final year of arbitration eligibility, is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2018. If the Cardinals were to acquire the 31-year-old veteran, its lineup would immediately receive an offensive boost, but Donaldson's output isn't guaranteed the same results. Since making the Rogers Centre his home in 2015, the MVP third baseman owns a .301 batting average with a .996 OPS and 165 wRC+ through 214 games at his home field in Toronto. During that same stretch, Donaldson's numbers take a noticeable dip when on the road, hitting just .271 with a .901 OPS and 144 wRC+ over 210 games. Dynasty owners should monitor this situation closely, as a move out of the hitter-friendly Rogers Centre would likely decrease Donaldson's preseason value next year.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Mariners' Jean Segura: Back in action Friday
Segura (finger) is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Angels, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Segura did not start the last four games while tending to his finger injury, but he is back in the lineup Friday for the first game of the Mariners' final series of the season. As he regularly does, Segura will play shortstop and hit leadoff Friday night.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Back in action Friday
Candelario (wrist) is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins.
Candelario did not play Thursday due to a wrist injury, but he will be back in action just one day later. He has impressed in September with a .354 batting average, and will look to stay hot Friday while hitting cleanup against Twins starter Kyle Gibson.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Indians' Giovanny Urshela: Not in Friday's lineup
Urshela is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.
Urshela will be held out in favor of Yandy Diaz for the second time in three games. Both players saw frequent action at third base in September, so it remains to be seen if one or the other will be the team's primary third baseman in the postseason, or if they will share the duties.

Trevor Plouffe 3B | PHI
Rays' Trevor Plouffe: Launches ninth homer in win
Plouffe went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Thursday's 9-6 win over the Yankees.
Plouffe's 414-shot in the sixth closed out the scoring for the Rays on the night and was his first homer since June 21. It's been a forgettable campaign for the veteran between his stints with the Athletics and Rays, with all three elements of his .202/.272/.325 line representing his worst marks since his initial big-league cup of coffee with the Twins in 2010.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Goes deep in victory
Chapman went 2-for-3 with two RBI from a run-scoring single and a solo home run and also walked in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Rangers.
The rookie went deep for the first time since Sept. 19 and extended his modest hitting streak to three games in the process. Chapman has a pair of multi-hit efforts in the last five contests as well and now has double-digit RBI for the second straight month. While he's understandably struggled with consistency in his first exposure to big-league pitching this season (.230 average and .330 OBP), Chapman has displayed some nice pop (21 doubles, two triples, 14 homers), considerably raising expectations heading into 2018.
