Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Drives in three during win
Chapman went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a two-run home run in a win over the Indians on Monday.
Chapman's 388-foot shot to left with a man aboard in the eighth gave the Athletics some much-needed breathing room after the Indians had closed to within a run. The slugging shortstop has now hit safely in four of the last five games, although the homer was his first since May 10. Chapman currently sports a solid .264/.357/.522 line across 207 plate appearances, and he's encouragingly carrying career-best figures in walk rate (11.6 percent) and strikeout rate (15.9 percent).

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Starts after HBP
Moncada, who was hit by a pitch on his left knee Sunday, started Monday and went 0-for-4 in a 3-0 loss to the Astros.
Moncada walked gingerly to first base after getting plunked Sunday but apparently felt well enough the day after to remain in the lineup.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Fills stat sheet
Devers went 3-for-5 with a home run, two singles, three RBI, a stolen base and two runs in a 12-2 victory against the Blue Jays on Monday.
It was a terrific game for Devers, who came into the afternoon 1-for-16 in the last four games. He broke out of that slump, hitting his fourth homer and raising his average back up to .314. He's slashing .314/.383/.451 with 16 extra-base hits, 25 RBI, 31 runs and six steals on nine attempts in 197 plate appearances this season.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Yankees' Gio Urshela: Starting Monday
Urshela (knee) is in the lineup Monday against the Orioles.
Urshela left Sunday's game against the Rays after fouling a ball off his knee, but the removal was considered precautionary, so it's not a big surprise to see him back in the lineup just one day later. Urshela will bat seventh and play third base in Monday's contest.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hit by pitch, stays in game
Moncada was hit on the left knee by a pitch but remained in Sunday's game, Brian Sandalow of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Moncada took his time getting down to first base following the HBP and was able to finish out the game. Seeing how Moncada responds the day after will dictate his availability for Monday night's game in Houston.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Breaks out with bat in latest rehab
Duffy (hamstring) served as the designated hitter in High-A Charlotte's win over Clearwater on Sunday and went 3-for-4 with a triple, a solo home run, a walk and four runs overall.
After surprisingly struggling at the plate against High-A arms over the first six games of his rehab assignment, Duffy finally looked like a big-league hitter facing inferior competition Sunday. The veteran infielder is likely to get a few more games at the minor-league level in order to pile up more at-bats and further test his recovering hamstring, with a bump up the organizational ladder to the high minors likely before he's activated.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Yankees' Gio Urshela: Removal was precautionary
Manager Aaron Boone said removing Urshela early from Sunday's action was "cautious" and the third baseman's groin injury doesn't appear to be major, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.
Urshela was removed after fouling a ball off himself in the third inning. Boone also noted that Urshela had a tough time running, but that the team thought he would be okay. It remains unclear if Urshela will miss additional time, but his next chance to be in the lineup will come on Monday as the Yankees travel to Baltimore.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Homers against Rays
LeMahieu went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and three runs in the Yankees' 13-5 win over the Rays on Sunday.
The veteran infielder checked in with his third long ball of the season with a seventh-inning solo blast off Casey Sadler. He's enjoying a solid first season at the dish for the Yankees, as he's now slashing .312/.358/.433 through 157 at-bats.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Yankees' Gio Urshela: Lifted with suspected knee injury
Urshela was pulled from Sunday's game against the Rays prior to his sixth-inning plate appearance due to a suspected knee injury, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.
During a plate appearance in the bottom of the third, Urshela appeared to be in pain after fouling a ball off his knee, but remained in the contest. The Yankees' decision to lift Urshela from the game a few innings later suggests that his knee may have swelled up, though the team should provide an official diagnosis for the third baseman later Sunday. Thairo Estrada stepped in for Urshela and promptly delivered a bases-clearing double to break the game open for the Yankees.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Plays shortstop during rehab
Duffy (hamstring) started at shortstop in High-A Charlotte's loss to Clearwater on Saturday and went 0-for-2 with a walk.
Duffy is now hitting just .083 in his rehab assignment despite the low level of competition, but of overriding importance is that he's remained free of setbacks. The fact he played shortstop Saturday hints at the possibility he might see time there at the big-league level when he returns if Willy Adames and Daniel Robertson continue to underperform, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
