Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Blasts 14th homer
LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an 8-4 loss against the Rockies on Sunday.
The 31-year-old's incredible season continued Sunday, as he hit his 14th homer. He's now just one shy of his career-high 15 home runs from last year, and LeMahieu is on an eight-game hitting streak. He is batting .333 with 14 home runs, 68 RBI, 71 runs and four steals in 375 at-bats this season.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Drills 10th homer
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over Kansas City.
Ramirez delivered a solo homer in the sixth inning to give his club a 3-2 lead, and the Indians wouldn't look back. The 26-year-old third baseman has collected a base knock in nine of his last 10 contests, going 14-for-41 with three home runs and 11 RBI over that stretch.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Quiet in return
Chapman (ankle) went 0-for-4 with a walk in a win over the Twins on Saturday.
Chapman returned to the starting lineup after only appearing as a defensive replacement in Friday night's contest. The slugging third baseman had a quiet night at the plate, but of overriding importance was the fact he played the full game in the field without any setbacks to his previously sore ankle.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: To be activated next week
Duffy (hamstring) will be activated from the 60-day injured list at some point during the upcoming series against the Red Sox, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
The Rays have a home series Monday through Wednesday against Boston, during which Duffy will make his return. He is hitting .263/.358/.439 with two home runs and a 7:6 K:BB in 57 at-bats during his rehab assignment. Duffy will likely occupy a reserve role once healthy.

Rays' Matt Duffy: Homers in rehab game
Duffy (hamstring) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk while playing a full game at third base in Triple-A Durham's loss to Indianapolis on Saturday.
In what was likely either his penultimate or final rehab game, Duffy blasted his second home run of his minor-league tenure in 2019. The infielder is on the verge of activation after corroborating his health since resuming his rehab assignment July 4, and he seems to have hit his stride at the plate by going a combined 7-for-11 with Saturday's homer, three RBI, a walk and two runs over his last three games.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Smacks 20th homer
Devers went 2-for-4 with a walk, home run, two RBI and three runs scored Saturday against the Orioles.
Devers took Tom Eshelman deep in the third inning to record his 20th home run of the season. He now has three long balls in his last four starts and five since the All-Star break. The 22-year-old is hitting .324/.378/.569 across 419 plate appearances for the season.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Rejoins starting nine
Chapman (ankle) will start at third base and bat second Saturday against the Twins, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Chapman's sore left ankle kept him out of the lineup the past two days, though he was able to enter Friday's win as a late-inning defensive replacement. After incurring no setbacks coming out of that contest nor during his pregame workout Saturday, he'll draw back into the starting nine for the penultimate game of the series.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Serves as defensive replacement
Chapman (ankle) was utilized as a defensive replacement at third base during the bottom of the ninth inning of Friday's win over the Twins.
Prior to the game, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reported that Chapman was slated to receive ongoing treatment during the early part of the game and would potentially be available off the bench late in the contest. That's precisely what came to pass, although the young slugger didn't log an at-bat when Liam Hendriks was able to slam the door for his seventh save. Considering he was healthy enough to make an appearance in the field Friday, it seems highly likely Chapman returns to the starting nine Saturday night as projected.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: To be limited to infield in return
Duffy (hamstring), who could be activated from the IL by the end of the weekend, will likely just play shortstop and third base for the remainder of the season, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Back in the spring, the Rays had considered using Duffy in the outfield in 2019, but that was prior to the injury bug striking him. At this point, the team is much more prone to keeping Duffy at the two positions he's most comfortable. With Yandy Diaz and Willy Adames both having solid seasons and Joey Wendle also healthy again, it remains to be seen how playing time will be distributed among the group once Duffy is activated.

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Turns in multi-hit day
LeMahieu went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Friday against the Rockies.
LeMahieu knocked home a pair of insurance runs in this one, delivering an RBI single to left field in the fourth inning following by a fielder's choice in the sixth, which scored another. He's extended his hitting streak to six games, registering two extra-base hits and three RBI over that stretch.
