Urshela (knee) is not in the lineup Friday against the Orioles.

The 29-year-old continues to battle a knee injury and won't start the series opener at Baltimore. Miguel Andujar will start at third base Friday in place of Urshela.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 4-2 win against Seattle on Thursday.

Ramirez went yard in the third to pull within one home run of Ronald Acuna for the MLB lead. While Ramirez's .559 slugging percentage has been exceptional in the early going, his average (.252) and on base percentage (.336) are below average and has last stolen base came all the way back on April 20.

Urshela is dealing with a knee injury and could be out of the lineup Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Urshela missed the team's weekend series with a knee injury, and he is still dealing with it despite returning to start three consecutive contests. It appears the team may take a cautious approach, though for the time being a stint on the injured list doesn't appear imminent.

Madrigal isn't starting Thursday's game against the Twins.

Madrigal had gone 5-for-19 with a double, three runs and an RBI in his last four games. Leury Garcia will shift to second base while Billy Hamilton starts in center field.

Candelario (illness) is starting Wednesday's game against the Royals, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game due to side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine, but he'll return to action after a brief absence. The 27-year-old has gone 7-for-17 with a home run, six runs, four RBI, two walks and three strikeouts in his last four games.

Astudillo started at first base and went 2-for-4 with a double to raise his batting average to .324 in Tuesday's loss to the White Sox.

Astudillo appears to have supplanted Miguel Sano as the starting first baseman in the near term as he's been hot at the plate while Sano has struggled. Astudillo will likely move back to a utility role when several Twins return from the injured list, but he could stick in the lineup if he stays hot since so many of Minnesota's regulars are struggling at the plate.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Ramirez put Cleveland on the board with a solo shot in the fourth inning. The third baseman has enjoyed a strong start to the season with 10 homers, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and four stolen bases in 138 plate appearances. He's slashing .261/.348/.563 in 33 games, and his role in the heart of the order should lead to plenty more chances to participate in run production.

Devers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the A's.

His seventh-inning blast off Chris Bassitt brought the Red Sox within a run, but it was the last gasp of offense for his squad. Devers has gone yard twice in the last three games, giving him nine homers on the year to go with a strong .280/.361/.576 slash line.

Rendon (knee) said there's a chance he could be activated from the injured list during the Angels' three-game series at Boston this weekend, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The 30-year-old resumed light baseball activities Monday, so it's a bit of a surprise to hear a return this weekend is a realistic possibility. Rendon did some jogging Tuesday and had no issues while fielding grounders and taking swings Monday. He'll likely need to ramp up his progression over the next few days to have a chance of playing against the Red Sox.

Urshela (knee) will play third base and bat cleanup Tuesday against the Rays.

Urshela left Thursday's game against the Astros with a knee injury and didn't appear in the weekend series against the Nationals. He's good to go following Monday's off day, however, and will be looking to continue the five-game hitting streak he was on at the time he got hurt.
