Overall, Bregman has maintained a .312/.391/.471 line with five home runs, 22 RBI and 26 runs scored across 36 games.

    Chapman's two-game, 5-for-8 tear has quickly boosted his average 23 points to .233, and he's also driven in four runs along the way. The third baseman's slugging percentage remains a pedestrian .404 at the moment, but he has contributed 13 extra-base hits (six doubles, two triples, five home runs) and currently boasts a career-high 12.8 percent walk rate that has his OBP at a respectable .331.

    Astudillo (hand) will start at third base and bat seventh Wednesday against the White Sox.

    Astudillo will return to the lineup for the first time since exiting Sunday's game against the Athletics with a bruised hand, but the Twins never seemed too concerned about the injury. The 29-year-old was used off the bench in Monday's 16-4 loss to the White Sox, going 0-for-3 while seeing action in the field at catcher and pitcher. Astudillo will be filling in Wednesday for Josh Donaldson, who is resting for the day game after a night game.

    The Yankees' leadoff man established a new season high in RBI after plating a pair of runs on a fourth-inning double and scoring another on a sixth-inning sacrifice fly. LeMahieu has been running hot over the Yankees' last five games, going 7-for-19 with a 3:3 BB:K, four runs and four RBI.

    Candelario went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and two RBI on Tuesday against the Mariners.

    Candelario took Justin Dunn yard in his first at-bat of the game to record his fourth home run of the season. He remained productive for the remainder of the contest, driving in a run in the third inning while also racking up his seventh double and subsequently coming around to score in the eighth frame. Candelario is riding a four-game hitting streak and has maintained a .291/.367/.419 line with 15 RBI and 21 runs scored across 40 games for the campaign.
