Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Activated, starting Friday
Donaldson (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
Donaldson had been sidelined since May 24 due to right shoulder inflammation, but he received a cortisone injection after landing on the injured list and will return to the lineup after missing just over the minimum of 10 days. He'll start at third base and bat cleanup during Friday's matchup against Detroit and should reclaim his role as the Yankees' everyday third baseman while DJ LeMahieu shifts back to the keystone.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Hits homer Thursday
LeMahieu went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the first game of a doubleheader against the Angels on Thursday.
LeMahieu smacked a solo shot to left field in the fifth inning of Game 1 before going 0-for-3 with a walk in the nightcap. The veteran infielder is having a quiet season at the plate, slashing .252/.330/.393 with four homers, 20 RBI and a stolen base. He leads the team with 11 doubles.

Taylor Walls SS | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Remains out of lineup
Walls isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Walls has gone 2-for-15 with a homer, two runs, three walks and four strikeouts over his last five games, but he'll be held out of the lineup for a second straight matchup. Yandy Diaz will shift to first base while Harold Ramirez serves as the designated hitter.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Scores game-winning run in extras
Suarez went 1-for-5 with an RBI single and two runs in an extra-inning win over the Orioles on Thursday.
Suarez was involved in multiple critical sequences of the win, as his sixth-inning single that plated Julio Rodriguez knotted the game at 3-3, and he subsequently crossed the plate with the run that snapped a 6-6 tie in the 10th inning. Suarez now has a five-game hitting streak, one preceded by a seven-game streak that lasted from May 16-23.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Laces game-winning hit
Toro went 1-for-4 with a game-winning RBI triple, a walk and a run in an extra-inning win over the Orioles on Thursday.
The 25-year-old's 10th-inning three-bagger not only plated Eugenio Suarez with what would turn out to be the winning run, but he extended his hitting streak to seven games in the process. Toro's bat has come to life since mid-May following a positively dismal start to the season, as he owns a .321 average and .998 OPS across the 31 plate appearances he's logged in his last nine games.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Tallies fifth RBI in return
Moncada went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Moncada missed five consecutive games with a quadriceps injury, but he returned Thursday to play third base and hit third. He tallied a run-scoring single in the eighth inning to record his fifth RBI of the campaign. Moncada has had a fitful start to the season after being sidelined by an oblique injury as well as a few issues in his lower body, and he's hitting just .138/.176/.246 across 68 plate appearances as a result.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Singles in return from IL
Toro (shoulder), who was reinstated from the injured list earlier in the day, entered Wednesday's loss to the Orioles as the designated hitter in the sixth inning and went 1-for-2.
The 25-year-old was an in-game replacement for Mike Ford in his first game off the IL. Toro's single extended the hitting streak he'd started back on May 17 to six games, but he still carries an ugly .184/.241/.368 slash line across 137 plate appearances.

Jake Burger 1B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Back on bench in Moncada's return
Burger is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
With Yoan Moncada (quadriceps) back in the lineup at third base for the first time since May 25, Burger's six-game run in the starting nine comes to an end. Unless Moncada's quad issue crops up again, Burger looks like he'll have to settle for part-time duty at designated hitter moving forward. Most of the righty-hitting Burger's starts are likely to come against left-handed pitching.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Ready to go Thursday
Moncada is starting at third base and batting third in Thursday's series finale versus the Blue Jays, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Moncada was out of the starting lineup for the past five games with a quadriceps injury, but he felt well enough to make two appearances off the bench during that stretch. The third baseman comes into the contest in the middle of a 2-for-31 stretch at the plate dating back to May 17, and he only has one multi-hit effort this season in 13 starts.

Ryan Kreidler SS | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Nursing sore hand
Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said that Kreidler hasn't played for Triple-A Toledo since Sunday due to a sore right hand, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
Kreidler initially fractured the hand in late April and underwent surgery before he made his return to the Triple-A lineup May 27. However, he appeared in just two games for Toledo before his hand started bothering him again. The setback doesn't seem to be a significant one for Kreidler, but he could miss a few more games until the discomfort completely subsides.
