  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Drives in three Monday

Suarez went 2-for-5 with three RBI from a pair of run-scoring singles in a win over the Athletics on Monday.

The veteran slugger got it done with some small ball Monday, extending Mariners leads to 8-0 and 10-2 with his timely sixth- and eight-inning knocks. Suarez has shown a knack for coming through in the clutch of late, collecting nine RBI on eight hits, including two home runs, over the last seven games.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Hits 10th home run

Jung went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Pirates.

Jung singled in his first at-bat, and after being retired in back-to-back plate appearances, he launched a two-run home run in the ninth to cut Pittsburgh's lead to 6-4. It was the second straight game Jung hit a long ball, and he's also hit safely in 10 of his past 11 appearances. During that stretch, the 2019 first-round pick is slashing .318/.375/.477. On the season, he's hitting .263/.312/.474 with 10 homers and 30 RBI.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers again in nightcap

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 2-1 loss in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

The Guardians struggled against the Mets' pair of aces, Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander, in the twin bill. Ramirez was able to take the latter deep for Cleveland's lone run in the nightcap after going yard off reliever David Robertson in the day game. Ramirez has at least one extra-base hit in five of his last six contests, perhaps a sign of him coming out of his early power slump. He's slashing .280/.365/.478 with six homers, 25 RBI, five stolen bases and 25 runs scored through 43 games this season.

  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Ends homer drought

Chapman went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

The third baseman drove a second-inning Dean Kremer sinker that stayed up in the zone over the wall in left-center field to give the Jays an early 1-0 lead. Chapman snapped a 28-game home run drought with the performance, a stretch in which he batted a meager .224 with only five RBI, but on the season he still sports a .301/.381/.514 slash line with six homers, 23 runs and 24 RBI over 46 contests.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Pops ninth homer

Jung went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Sunday's 13-3 win over the Rockies.

Jung got the scoring started for the Rangers with his second-inning solo shot. It was his ninth homer of the year, but his first in 15 games. The third baseman is slashing .257/.308/.456 with 28 RBI, 30 runs scored, a stolen base and seven doubles through 43 contests in his first season as a near-everyday player.

  • Nick Maton DH | CHW

Tigers' Nick Maton: Goes deep in loss

Maton went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

Maton was the only Detroit player with an extra-base hit, as he popped his fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning. This was only the second multi-hit effort of the month for Maton, who's mostly struggled this year with a .165 batting average across 41 games. He gives the Tigers some defensive versatility but can mostly be avoided in fantasy leagues at the moment.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Launches fifth homer

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk during Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

The 30-year-old put Cleveland ahead 4-3 with two-run shot to center field during the eighth inning, though the lead didn't last for long. It's just the fifth homer of the season for Ramirez, whose .465 slugging percentage would be his lowest since 2016.

  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Gets positive results from MRI

Angels manager Phil Nevin recently said he was encouraged by the results of the MRI that Rendon (groin) received May 17, per MLB.com.

Rendon was placed on the 10-day IL on May 15 with a left groin strain, with the move being retroactive to the previous day. Nevin was optimistic when discussing the third baseman earlier this week, suggesting that his MRI results were encouraging and indicating that the Angels "don't think it'll be very long at all" before he is able to return. Rendon was hitting well prior to the injury, slashing .380/.484/.480 with a home run, nine RBI, 11 runs, a stolen base and an 8:6 BB: K over his previous 14 contests.

  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Testing hamstring Sunday

Urias is running the bases and testing his strained left hamstring with Baltimore head trainer Brian Ebel on Sunday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Depending on how Urias feels after running, the infielder could begin a rehab assignment as early as next week. The infielder has been on the shelf since May 9 with the strain, and he likely would need a handful of games -- if not more -- before having a chance to return next weekend. Assuming there are no setbacks, Urias could be back in the lineup for Baltimore by the end of May.

  • Jace Peterson SS | ARI

Athletics' Jace Peterson: On bench Sunday

Peterson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Peterson has a .693 OPS through 16 games in May and will take a seat Sunday with lefty Framber Valdez pitching for Houston. Nick Allen will start at shortstop with Aledmys Diaz covering the hot corner.
