GM: Blue Jays planning no extension talks with Josh Donaldson

Donaldson has more than lived up to expectations this season with a slash line of .301/.360/.540 and 48 RBI. He is enjoying arguably his best season, but the lack of motivation to extend him is understandable. He is locked up through 2018.
