Pedro Alvarez 3B | MIA
Orioles' Pedro Alvarez: Gets day off Tuesday
Alvarez is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
Alvarez blasted his seventh home run of the season Sunday, but he'll head to the bench with lefty David Price set to oppose to the Baltimore lineup. Mark Trumbo will serve as the club's DH on Tuesday with Joey Rickard manning right field.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Royals' Mike Moustakas: Transferred to 60-day DL
Moustakas (knee) was transferred to the 60-day DL on Tuesday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
Moustakas has already been ruled out for the remainder of 2016 after undergoing surgery to repair his torn ACL, so the move was purely a procedural one. Tyler Olson, who was claimed off waivers by the Royals earlier Tuesday, will fill in on the 40-man roster in a corresponding move and report to Triple-A Omaha.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Rays' Evan Longoria: Timely hitting major part of resurgence in 2016
Longoria, who leads the Rays in homers, RBI and batting average, has been particularly proficient over the last 14 games with men on base, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The veteran slugger is enjoying a resurgent season and has been particularly lethal with runners in scoring position over the last two-plus weeks. Longoria has hit .563 and driven in 17 runs with men on base over a 14-game span, raising his average 25 points to .279 in the process. The 30-year-old has driven in at least one run in 10 of those 14 contests, and has already amassed 11 RBI in the 10 June games he's participated in.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Starting to heat up at High-A
Devers, 19, is batting .378 over his last 10 games for High-A Salem.
Devers got off to a horrible start this season, but may have finally turned the corner. He's now slashing .228/.301/.340 with four home runs, 26 RBI and seven stolen bases in 58 games.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Promotion on the horizon?
Bregman, 22, is batting .314/.411/.596 with 13 home runs, 42 RBI and four steals through 49 games for Double-A Corpus Christi.
With Carlos Correa (ankle) nursing a minor ailment, many clamored for Bregman to receive a promotion to briefly take Correa's place. The more likely scenario, though, is that Bregman slides over to third base, as he has been playing there in recent weeks. With the hot corner continuing to provide little pop for the Astros, Bregman may see the bigs in short order.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Rays' Evan Longoria: Two hits in Sunday's win
Longoria went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's win over the Astros.
He's putting together an impressive month of June, hitting .359 (14-for-39) with six home runs, 11 RBI and nine runs scored. The Rays have won seven of their last nine in large part due to Longoria's surging bat, and while they remain in last place in the AL East, they're just 6.5 games back of the Orioles and Red Sox with plenty of time to make up ground.

Pedro Alvarez 3B | MIA
Orioles' Pedro Alvarez: Hits seventh homer in Sunday's loss
Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored, two RBI and his seventh home run of the season in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays.
The Orioles cranked out five homers Sunday and still managed to lose, but you can't fault Alvarez. He's now popped four home runs in 10 June games while hitting .355 (11-for-31) on the month with eight RBI and seven runs.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Orioles' Manny Machado: Another multi-hit game Sunday
Machado went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Blue Jays.
That's three multi-hit performances in his last four games, pushing Machado's slash line on the season to .308/.376/.600. He'll need to begin serving his four-game suspension soon, but given how dialed in he is at the plate it's easy to see why he'd be reluctant to take a break.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Athletics' Max Muncy: Out of lineup Sunday
Muncy is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.
After trading Chris Coghlan to the Cubs a few days earlier, Muncy looks to be penciled into a platoon with Jake Smolinski in right field. As the left-handed hitter of the two, Muncy figures to garner the larger share of starts for the time being, but with southpaw John Lamb on the mound Sunday for the opposition, Smolinski will enter the lineup.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Orioles' Manny Machado: Explodes for multi-extra-base-hit game Saturday
Machado went 3-for-5 with a double, home run and three runs scored in Saturday's wild 11-6 loss to the Blue Jays.
The 23-year-old slugger, currently appealing his four-game suspension for his part in a brawl with Yordano Ventura, brought out his big bat Saturday, tallying his second multi-hit outing over the last three games. Machado also went deep for the third time in June, reaching half of his May homer total in 11 games during the new month. Saturday's production brings his season line to a stellar .306/.376/.600, and with 16 round-trippers on the season already, he's on pace to surpass the career-high 35 homers he blasted in 2015.
