Longoria went 1-for-2 with two walks in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to the Yankees.

On a night when the Rays only managed five hits, Longoria was on base more often than any of his teammates and has gotten 2017 off to an auspicious start. Factoring in Tuesday's production, he's reached safely in five of eight plate appearances and has an Opening Day home run and three RBI to his credit as well.

Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Monday's 7-1 loss to the Royals.

Moustakas staked the Royals to a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning with a 365-foot blast off Ervin Santana, but the Kansas City offense managed just one hit the rest of the game. Though Moustakas profiles as one of the better sources of power on the roster, manager Ned Yost chose to deploy him in the two hole Monday, which could limit the third baseman's RBI opportunities if he remains a fixture in that spot in the batting order for the long haul.

Bregman went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 3-0 win over the Mariners on Opening Day.

Bregman hit out of the two-hole, a favorable spot between George Springer and Jose Altuve that should enhance the young third baseman's offense in 2017. In addition to the steal, after a sixth-inning walk, he went first-to-third on an Altuve single and then scored on a Carlos Correa sacrifice fly. That sequence hints at the ways his spot in the batting order will elevate his offensive production in 2017.

Segura went 2-for-4 in his Mariners debut in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Astros.

Manning the leadoff spot, Segura was essentially the lone bright spot on a day when Astros starter Dallas Keuchel and two relievers completely stymied a Mariners offense that often looked like it was hitting on all cylinders this spring. Segura was the one player to transfer his success from the exhibition slate to Opening Day, and will be counted on all season to set the table for the array of potent bats in Seattle's lineup.

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer off Yu Darvish in an 8-5 comeback victory over the Rangers on Monday night.

Ramirez picked up right where he left off in 2016, and he'll man the keystone until Jason Kipnis is back from his injury. A high BABIP (.333) last year means Ramirez could be due for some regression, but he still makes plenty of contact and doesn't strike out much. Hitting in the middle of a potent Cleveland lineup should help him put up similar numbers again.

Machado rolled his left wrist making a stellar defensive play in Monday's season opener against the Blue Jays, but manager Buck Showalter expects him to be fine, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

Machada finished the 11-inning contest and went 1-for-4 with a walk. Although Machado had a "good raspberry," according to Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun, it isn't expected to be anything serious. Especially considering Baltimore has an off day Tuesday, expect Machado to be right back in the lineup for Baltimore's next game Wednesday.

Donaldson finished 3-for-5 with a walk in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Orioles.

Donaldson failed to reach base in either of his first two at-bats, but he got on with a walk in the fifth before spraying around three singles in his final three trips to the dish. He experienced an abbreviated spring schedule due to a calf problem, but Monday's opener is an excellent sign for fantasy owners that he put in enough work to establish a rhythm at the plate.

Asche will bat sixth in the lineup and serve as the White Sox's DH in Monday's season opener against the Tigers.

Asche, who also offers the ability to play third base and the corner outfield, will likely split duties at DH with Matt Davidson initially, with the former seeing the bulk of the starts by virtue of being the left-handed hitter of the two. The 26-year-old will probably have to produce before generating much interest in mixed leagues after slashing .213/.284/.350 across 218 plate appearances with the Phillies in 2016.

Segura will lead off against southpaw Dallas Keuchel in Monday's Opening Day tilt versus the Astros and will likely bat first against righties as well, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Segura enjoyed an excellent spring, hitting .341 with five doubles, a triple, two home runs and six RBI and looking every bit the multi-purpose threat he was in his breakout 2016 season with the Diamondbacks. His outstanding plate discipline and ability to get on base consistently makes him a natural for the top of the order regardless of the handedness of pitcher, a role that manager Scott Servais confirms is a no-brainer in his view. "He had a couple hundred hits last year," Servais said of Segura. "He hit the ball more to right field than any other right-handed hitter in the league. So why not? He's a good hitter."

Longoria finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Yankees.

Longoria drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning and knocked in two more with a line drive home run to left in the second. There was a bit of concern about a lingering neck issue heading into the season, but the slugger showed no signs of the ailment in the opener. Longoria launched a career-high 36 home runs last season and is off to a promising start to the 2017 campaign as he looks to rival that total.
