The two-hit game snaps a 1-for-14 stretch for the 26-year-old second baseman. Albies is now slashing .252/.298/.513 with 13 runs scored and 24 RBI through 124 plate appearances.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Marte went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 loss against the Rangers.

Marte started the scoring with a first-inning home run. He picked up his second RBI on a sac fly in the second inning. Marte has come across to score 17 runs in 27 games this season, as he hits second in a Diamondbacks lineup producing the 10th-most runs in baseball.

  • Brice Turang 2B | MIL

Brewers' Brice Turang: Singles twice, steals bag

Turang went 2-for-4 with one steal in Tuesday's loss against the Rockies.

Turang entered Tuesday with one hit in his previous 18 at-bats. In his first plate appearance, he singled and swiped second for his fourth steal of the season. He did strike out with the tying run on third in the ninth to end the game, but he's now sporting a .603 OPS following Tuesday's production.

Giants' Thairo Estrada: Steals base, delivers two hits

Estrada went 2-for-3 with one run scored and one steal in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Astros.

Estrada got the Giants out to a hot start as he singled, stole second and came around to score in the first inning. He was cut down trying to swipe another bag in the fourth inning. The middle infielder has been spectacular in 2023 with a .902 OPS and nine stolen bases.

  • Bryson Stott 2B | PHI

Phillies' Bryson Stott: Dropped to fifth spot in order

Stott will bat fifth for the Phillies on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Stott has been occupying the leadoff spot against both righties and lefties over the last couple of weeks, but the reigning NL champs will switch things up Tuesday at Dodger Stadium as they welcome Bryce Harper (elbow) back into the fold. Kyle Schwarber is at the top of the order with lefty Julio Urias on the mound for Los Angeles. Trea Turner will hit second and Harper is batting third.

  • Jordan Diaz 3B | ATH

Athletics' Jordan Diaz: Takes seat Tuesday

Diaz is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Mariners, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Diaz has seen consistent playing time since being brought up from Triple-A Las Vegas, but he'll begin Tuesday's contest against Bryce Miller and the Mariners on the bench. Tony Kemp is playing second base and hitting eighth while Jace Peterson hits fifth and plays third.

  • Nolan Gorman 3B | STL

Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Sitting against lefty

Gorman isn't starting Tuesday against the Angels, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

With the left-handed Patrick Sandoval starting for Los Angeles, Gorman will begin Tuesday's game in the dugout. Willson Contreras will take over as St. Louis' designated hitter, and Andrew Knizner will start behind the plate while batting eighth.

  • Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Sitting against lefty

Donovan isn't starting Tuesday against the Angels, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

  • Jose Altuve 2B | HOU

    Astros' Jose Altuve: Fields grounders

Altuve (thumb) fielded grounders pregame at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

It appears to be the first bit of baseball activity Altuve has performed since he had surgery in late March to repair a fractured right thumb. Altuve is also slated to be examined by the doctor Tuesday to gauge his progress. Based on how that visit goes, we might get a clearer picture on his timetable.

  • Ji-Hwan Bae 2B | NYM

Pirates' Ji Hwan Bae: Not in lineup Tuesday

Bae is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rays.

Bae recorded his 11th steal of the season in Sunday's series finale against the Nationals, but Mark Mathias will get the start at second base as the Pirates open a three-game set Tuesday at Tampa Bay. It's a bullpen day for the Rays, so Bae probably will appear off the bench at some point.
