Arroyo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

The Reds will go with Spencer Steer and Matt McLain as their starters in the middle infield while Arroyo retreats to the bench for the series opener. Since being promoted from Triple-A Louisville on June 1, Arroyo has struggled to produce in a near-everyday role, slashing .240/.304/.280 with zero home runs or stolen bases across 56 plate appearances. With Elly De La Cruz (hamstring) expected to return from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Arroyo could wind up heading back to Louisville in a corresponding move.

Loftin will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Rays.

Loftin will remain in the lineup for a seventh straight game after going 7-for-22 with one home run, four doubles, three walks, four RBI and two runs across the prior six contests. He's been the main beneficiary of Maikel Garcia (hand) and Bobby Witt (knee) both having missed time over the past week, but Loftin's opportunities could dry up if Witt avoids a stint on the injured list. Garcia already seems to be past his hand injury, as he'll cover shortstop Monday in place of Witt for a second straight game.

Massey went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 12-10 loss to the Cardinals.

Massey contributed offensively, opening the scoring with a two-run single in the first inning as part of a three-hit performance. The 28-year-old's steal of second base in the third frame marked his second swipe of the season and first since May 2. It has been a standout June for the second baseman, as he's hitting .323/.333/.516 with three homers, three doubles, 12 RBI and nine runs scored across 17 appearances this month.

Sosa (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment Monday with the Blue Jays' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Sosa will be making his first appearance in a game in nearly a month while he works his way back from a right wrist contusion. Over 40 games this season between the White Sox and Blue Jays, Sosa has slashed .195/.207/.283 with one home run and a 1:25 BB:K. He doesn't have any minor-league options remaining, so Sosa will likely be added back to the Blue Jays' active roster once he's activated from the 10-day injured list.

Arraez went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Marlins.

Arraez delivered San Francisco's only extra-base hit in the contest with a third-inning double before coming around to score. The 29-year-old has recorded at least one hit in all but two of his 18 outings in June, during which he's batting .316 with 11 runs scored, seven RBI, one home run and one stolen base in 86 plate appearances. Overall, he's slashing .320/.357/.444 with 40 runs scored, 30 RBI, six stolen bases and three long balls across 330 plate appearances this season.

Lopez went 2-for-2 with two runs scored in Sunday's 4-3 win over San Diego.

Lopez singled and scored runs in the third and fourth innings. He made a third consecutive start at second base and hit safely in his last four appearances. Lopez is slashing .333/.367/.404 with one home run, five RBI, two steals in six runs scored over 20 games since singing with Texas as a free agent late in May. With Josh Smith having been optioned, second base is wide open for the left-handed hitting Lopez.

Nunez went 2-for-3 with a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Rays.

The second baseman has hit safely in seven straight games and 12 of his last 13, slashing .419/.468/.558 over the latter stretch with two doubles, two triples, eight runs, eight RBI and a 6-for-6 performance on the basepaths. That surge has bumped his OPS above .600 for the first time since March 31, and Nunez has moved back into a tie with Bobby Witt (knee) for the major-league lead in stolen bases with 28.

Wetherholt went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI, three runs scored and a hit-by-pitch in Sunday's 12-10 win over the Royals.

Wetherholt wasted no time making an impact Sunday, taking the third pitch of the game from Stephen Kolek over the fence for a leadoff homer. He wasn't finished there, adding another long ball against Kolek in the second inning as part of a massive offensive outburst by St. Louis. The performance marked the second multi-homer game of his young career and pushed his season total to 12 home runs. The rookie has been swinging a hot bat throughout June, hitting .333 over 15 games while continuing to provide production across multiple categories. On the season, Wetherholt is slashing .268/.370/.428 with eight doubles, 12 homers, 34 RBI, 49 runs scored and eight stolen bases across 71 games.

Chisholm went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases against Cincinnati in a loss Sunday.

New York racked up six thefts as a team Sunday, but none of the base stealers ended up scoring. Chisholm's stolen bases were his eighth and ninth through 17 contests in June, and he's now up to 23 on the campaign, putting him on pace to surpass his career-best mark of 40 steals, which he established in the 2024 regular season. Chisholm has complemented his work on the basepaths with 11 homers, and he's one of four major leaguers so far with at least 10 long balls and 20 thefts on the campaign.

Monasterio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Monasterio will be on the bench for a second straight game while the Red Sox give Anthony Seigler another turn at second base. Boston went with Monasterio at the keystone in each of the three games before that, with the 29-year-old going 2-for-10 with four strikeouts in those contests. Monasterio and Seigler could work in a timeshare at the position while the Red Sox are without all of Trevor Story (sports hernia), Romy Gonzalez (shoulder/hip), Nick Sogard (oblique) and Isiah Kiner-Falefa (forearm).
