Lowe is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Yankees.

Lowe rarely starts against left-handed pitching, and that will hold true Tuesday as he sits versus southpaw Carlos Rodon. Jose Caballero will handle second base for the Rays and Amed Rosario will be the team's designated hitter.

Bogaerts (shoulder) is on track to be activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Bogaerts began a rehab assignment last week with Triple-A El Paso, going 2-for-11 with a 4:4 K:BB in four games. He will continue his rehab with another game or two this week with Single-A Lake Elsinore before facing live pitching at Petco Park. Assuming all goes well, he'll then be back for the Padres' final series of the first half this weekend against Atlanta. Bogaerts has been sidelined since late May with a fractured left shoulder.

Lopez went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base Monday against the Twins.

Lopez has just a .607 OPS for the season, but he's in the midst of a very productive stretch. Across his last 15 games dating back to June 22, he's gone 15-for-43 with nine RBI, six runs scored and two stolen bases. Lopez is still hitting in the bottom third of the order and sitting against lefties, limiting his overall value.

Marte (back) will start at second base and bat second in Monday's game against Atlanta.

Marte had to depart a game this past Friday with a back issue and then sat out the next two contests. However, he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the series opener versus Atlanta.

The Reds outrighted Jordan to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

While no longer on the 40-man roster, Jordan will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. He has an .842 OPS over 220 plate appearances at Louisville this season.

Brujan went 1-for-2 with two walks, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

The 26-year-old infielder has scored at least one run in four straight games, reaching base seven times during that stretch on a single, two doubles and four free passes. Brujan is still slashing just .227/.308/.331 on the season, but he could be finding a groove at the plate with consistent playing time -- he's started six straight games at second base since the Marlins cut loose Tim Anderson at the beginning of the month and placed Otto Lopez (back) on the IL.

Horwitz went 3-for-5 in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Mariners.

It's the second time in the last four games Horwitz has banged out three hits. The 26-year-old has been an on-base machine since joining the Blue Jays roster a month ago, slashing .329/.454/.481 with more walks (14) than strikeouts (13) in 97 plate appearance, and he's quickly become a fixture near the top of the batting order against right-handed pitching.

Iglesias will start at second base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Pirates, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The Mets will include Iglesias in the lineup for a fourth straight game and for the third time against a right-handed starting pitcher (Mitch Keller). Though the right-handed-hitting Iglesias initially looked set to serve as a short-side platoon mate at the keystone for Jeff McNeil, the Mets may be compelled to make regular room for both players in the lineup against right-handed pitching. McNeil will pick up a start in right field Monday and could end up seeing more frequent opportunities at that position so long as Starling Marte (knee) remains on the injured list. Since getting called up from Triple-A Syracuse on May 31, Iglesias has slashed .333/.373/.476 with one home run and one stolen base across 67 plate appearances.

The Cardinals optioned Fermin to Triple-A Memphis on Monday.

Fermin has slashed just .130/.216/.174 over 51 plate appearances with the big club this season. He should get the chance to play regularly as he heads back to Memphis.

Schunk went 1-for-3 Sunday against the Royals.

Schunk was in the lineup for only the third time since being recalled June 8. Two of his starts have come at third base and one at second. He took advantage of his opportunity Sunday by tallying his first big-league hit in the third inning, looping the ball into center field.
