Holliday went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Royals.

Holliday tied the game with a solo shot in the second inning and later knotted things up again with a 422-foot blast in the fourth. The 21-year-old has hit safely in eight of his last 10 contests and is currently riding a five-game hit streak. While his tendency to sit against lefties limits his ceiling for now, he's slashing a solid .273/.340/.443 with four homers, 11 RBI, 11 runs scored and two steals across 97 plate appearances.

Gorman is out of the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

The Cardinals are facing a right-hander (Tylor Megill) in the second game of the day, but the left-handed-hitting Gorman will nonetheless find himself on the bench. Gorman started at second base in the Cardinals' 6-5 win in Game 1, going 0-for-2 with a walk and an RBI.

McNeil is out of the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.

McNeil will take a seat for the nightcap after he started at second base and went 0-for-4 with a walk and two runs in the Mets' 6-5 loss earlier in the day. Luisangel Acuna will cover the keystone and Tyrone Taylor will occupy center field in Game 2.

Lopez (ankle) said after Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Athletics that he expects to miss around 2-to-3 weeks, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Miami placed Lopez on the injured list prior to Sunday's game after he sprained his right ankle while stretching prior to Friday's 6-1 loss. Javier Sanoja has started at second base in both of the last two games and should serve as the primary option at the position in Lopez's absence, though Ronny Simon and Connor Norby could also be factors.

Koss will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Koss will occupy the keystone for the third time in four games and could get a look as the Giants' primary option at the position after Tyler Fitzgerald (rib) joined Casey Schmitt (oblique) on the injured list. After making the Giants' roster out of spring training, Koss had seen limited playing time through the end of April, logging just 26 plate appearances over the team's first 31 games. Along with Koss, Brett Wisely is also in the mix for playing time at second base while Fitzgerald and Schmitt are on the shelf.

Amador is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

On the bench for the third time in four games after slashing just .179/.238/.333 through his first 15 games of the season, Amador could be at risk of a demotion now that the Rockies have seemingly pulled the plug on him as an everyday player. Colorado will give Kyle Farmer the start at second base Sunday, and Owen Miller also remains in the mix for occasional playing time at the keystone.

Rodgers will start at second base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the White Sox.

After a stretch in which he made just one start in six games, Rodgers has now been included on four straight lineup cards. He seems to have regained some security as the Astros' preferred option at the keystone after going 3-for-12 with a walk and two runs over the previous three contests.

Stott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Stott will hit the bench along with fellow left-handed-hitting regulars Brandon Marsh and Max Kepler while the Diamondbacks send Eduardo Rodriguez to the hill. Edmundo Sosa will fill in for Stott at second base.

Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Marte returned from the injured list Friday and started at second base the past two days, going 1-for-7 with a walk. The 31-year-old hasn't reported any setbacks following his one-month stay on the IL due to a hamstring strain, so his absence Sunday is most likely a pre-planned rest day. Tim Tawa will draw the start at second base in his stead.

Rojas (toe) was activated from the 10-day injured list and will start at third base and bat seventh Sunday versus the Astros.

Rojas has been sidelined since he fractured his right big toe in mid-March, but he's ready to make his debut for the White Sox after a three-game rehab assignment. The 30-year-old had an underwhelming .225/.304/.336 slash line with eight homers and 10 steals in 143 games in Seattle last year, but he inked a one-year, $3.5 million deal with Chicago in January and is expected to see regular action between second base and the hot corner now that he's healthy.
