Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is not in the lineup for Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Mets on Saturday.

Pederson went hitless Friday, so Don Mattingly decided to change things up in center field and will give Enrique Hernandez the start.

Jose Altuve led Houston with three hits Thursday during their Game 1 ALDS win over Kansas City. He scored and drove in a run, but was caught stealing in the contest.

Altuve hit .313/.353/.459 with 15 home runs, 66 RBI and 38 steals during the regular season, which earned him All-Star honors for the third time in his young career. However, the multi-hit machine is 1-for-6 lifetime against Friday's starter Johnny Cueto.

Angels infielder/outfielder Grant Green cleared waivers and was assigned outright to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.

All 29 other MLB teams passed on Green after he was designated for assignment last week, so he will remain in the Angels' organization. While Green can play all around the field, he's done little at the plate in 109 games at the highest level to suggest he will ever be more than a fringe major leaguer (.249/.283/.335).

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went 3 for 5 in a Sunday loss to Arizona to finish the regular season with 200 hits.

Altuve reached the milestone for the second straight year, but finished second in the category overall behind Dee Gordon (205 hits). The three-time All-Star will now get his first taste of the postseason after slashing .313/.353/.459 with 15 home runs and 66 RBI - both career-highs - in 638 at-bats. He also led the American League with 38 stolen bases despite finishing with 18 fewer steals than he did a year ago.

Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Forsythe missed the final five games with a foot contusion, but he still turned in what was far and away his most successful season in the big leagues. In addition to showcasing plenty of defensive versatility, Forsythe was an asset offensively, slashing .281/.359/.444 while hitting 17 homers and driving in 68 runs.

The Rays should again carve out an everyday role for Forsythe in 2016.

Forsythe is now set to miss his fourth consecutive game as he continues to deal with a bruised right foot. Tim Beckham will take over for Forsythe at second base and hit seventh in the lineup.

Rockies shortstop Cristhian Adames (neck) is starting at shortstop and hitting leadoff Saturday, MLB.com reports.

He has not started in a few days as he has been dealing with a neck issue, but he should be good to go for the final two games of the season.

Padres third baseman Yangervis Solarte went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's win over the Brewers.

A hamstring injury's been making Solarte a rare inclusion in the lineup lately, but he made his presence felt when given the opportunity this time around. The 28-year-old's established himself as a solid regular this year, making plenty of contact while providing decent pop and positional flexibility.
