Rosario went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Yankees.

The opposite-field blast came on a hanging slider by Aroldis Chapman and nearly completed an impressive comeback for the Mets. The rookie shortstop now has a .255/.271/.489 slash line through 14 games in the majors, as five of Rosario's first 12 hits have gone for extra bases (one double, two triples, two homers).

Solarte got another start at short Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a pair of runs scored in a win over the Phillies.

Solarte had been serving a utility-infield role since returning from the disabled list on July 30, but with two consecutive starts at shortstop, he appears to have surpassed the struggling Dusty Coleman on the depth chart. The 30-year-old is slashing a healthy .308/.357/.462 since rejoining the Padres, and adding shortstop eligibility can only increase his current fantasy value.

Semien went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Royals.

Semien extended his hitting streak to six games with Monday's performance, which included his first triple of the campaign. The slugging shortstop has yet to hit a home run in August, but he's slashing a respectable .269/.339/.365 over his first 13 games of the month. Semien has enjoyed an excellent second half overall and has raised his average 101 points to .246 since July 18.

Marte went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Monday's 2-0 win over the Astros.

Marte saw his 10-game hitting streak came to an end of the weekend, but he's still been red-hot since returning from the bereavement list Aug. 4, churning out a .355/.459/.452. The 23-year-old should be locked into a full-time role for the rest of the season with Chris Owings (finger) unlikely to come off the disabled list until late September at the earliest, making him a worthy pickup for fantasy owners in need of a middle infielder with some batting average and speed upside.

Tomlinson started at second base in place of the injured Joe Panik (concussion) Monday, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in an 8-3 loss to Miami.

Panik passed concussion tests after taking a blow to the head on a play at home plate Sunday, but the sinking Giants may opt to place him on the 7-day DL after he missed nearly a third of last season with concussion symptoms, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports. If that plan holds true, Tomlinson would likely fall into regular playing time at the keystone. The 27-year-old has struggled at the plate in a utility role this season (.239/.318/.283), but his excellent 8.8 speed score and success on the basepaths (6-for-6) would make him a cheap short-term target for steals in deeper formats if he were to gain an everyday role.

Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rangers.

Altuve, who has three homers and three steals over the previous nine games, has been a nice blend of power and speed. With 18 homers and 26 steals, the second baseman is closing in on a second consecutive 20-homer, 30-steal season.

Merrifield went 3-for-6 with a triple, a homer and five RBI Sunday against the White Sox.

Merrifield finished a double shy of the cycle, driving in three runs with a third-inning homer before adding two more RBI on a triple in the sixth. This was the leadoff man's fourth multi-hit effort since Aug. 6, and he's flashed solid power with three long balls in that stretch. He's now slashing .296/.333/.486 and needs six more home runs and one stolen base for a 20-20 season.

Forsythe is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Forsythe's subpar season churns on, as the veteran second baseman is hitting just .231 during the month of August and has lowered his season average to .236. He'll get the day off with Chase Utley manning the keystone and batting fifth in his absence.

Frazier will start in left field and bat ninth Sunday against the Blue Jays, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

It will be the fifth consecutive start for Frazier, who will find a way into the lineup as a result of Gregory Polanco (hamstring) sitting out. The Pirates will reevaluate Polanco on Tuesday before determining if he'll require a trip to the disabled list, potentially putting Frazier on tap for an expanded role during the upcoming week. Frazier has sported a hot bat so far in August, batting .324 with six RBI and three runs in 10 games.

Rosario is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Rosario has collected four hits in his last two starts but will give way to Jose Reyes at shortstop. Manager Terry Collins recently announced that the Mets' top prospect will continue to receive regular days of rest moving forward in order to keep him fresh during long season.
