Hernandez is not in the lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

The Dodgers have mostly stayed true to their word in getting Hernandez more starts. He'll sit for just the second time this season and has certainly earned the increased role, hitting .370 with three homers. Max Muncy will slide over to second in his absence, with Cody Bellinger playing first and Alex Verdugo entering the lineup in right field.

Estrada has been optioned back to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

It was a short stint at the big-league level for the 23-year-old, who was initially called up earlier this week after Troy Tulowitzki (calf) hit the injured list, but he won't end up logging a big-league at-bat before getting sent back down. Infielder Giovanny Urshela was called up in a corresponding move.

McNeil is not starting Saturday against Washington due to a sore knee, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The Mets wanted to give McNeil an extra day of rest following Friday's off day. It doesn't sound as though he's expected to miss much more time. J.D. Davis starts at third base.

Frazier is not starting Saturday against the Reds.

Frazier has started each of the Pirates' first six games, hitting .308 with three doubles. Kevin Newman will start in his place at second base.

Altuve went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

The Astros' offense has scuffled to start the season, leaving bushels of runners on base, but the team's stars did just enough to eke out a home-opening win. Alex Bregman had a two-out RBI in the third, Carlos Correa bashed a solo home run in the fourth, and Altuve delivered a run-scoring double in the seventh to support Collin McHugh's quality start. Altuve has put together two consecutive multi-hit games, raising his season average to .258.

Polanco hit for the cycle, going 5-for-5 with a solo home run in a 10-4 loss to the Phillies on Friday.

Hitting for the cycle is hard -- recording a cycle with one RBI and one run scored has to be nearly impossible, but Polanco was able to do it Friday night. Despite the historic night, owners will have to settle for Polanco's batting average seeing the only major bump. His average rose from .286 to .423 after his five-hit night.

Marte went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Friday's 15-8 victory over the Red Sox.

Marte launched a solo homer to right in the fourth and hit a grand slam in the sixth to essentially put the game on ice. The 25-year-old continues to see the ball well at the dish and is now 11-for-36 with three homers, 11 RBI and two stolen bases over eight games.

Biggio went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in Triple-A Buffalo's home opener Thursday.

The 23-year-old put together a 20-20 campaign for Double-A New Hampshire last season, and he wasted no time flashing his power and speed upside to begin 2019. Biggio isn't yet on the 40-man roster, which complicates his chances of making his big-league debut any time soon, but if he puts up big numbers in Buffalo he could factor heavily into the Jays' plans for 2020.

Forsythe started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with two runs scored in Thursday's 11-4 win over the Angels.

Forsythe spelled Elvis Andrus, who served as the designated hitter for the game. Forsythe made the Rangers' roster as a utility infielder, winning the last position spot over Matt Davidson. This was his second start of the season with the first one coming at first base.

Andrus went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in the Rangers' 11-4 victory over the Angels on Thursday.

Andrus continued his red-hot hitting to start the season, rattling off three more hits to bring his slash line up to .414/.433/.552 over 29 at-bats. That's already four multi-hit efforts in seven games for the 30-year-old veteran, who is off to a great start as he looks to bounce back from an injury-shortened 2018 that saw him limited to 97 games.
