Castro is starting in center field and batting ninth Saturday against the Royals.

Castro has made two pinch-hit appearances since getting called up to the majors Tuesday and will now pick up his first start. The 25-year-old outfielder slashed .353/.392/.544 with three home runs and 21 RBI in 17 games with Triple-A Toledo before joining the Tigers.

Marte went 3-for-5 with a pair of homers, three runs and four RBI in a 10-9 win over the Rockies on Friday.

The 25-year-old now has nine home runs on the season. Marte is off to an excellent start offensively, as this performance gives him a robust .901 OPS through 123 at-bats.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Royals.

Rodriguez contributed to the Tigers' three-run first inning with an RBI groundout before extending the team's lead to 4-0 with his run-scoring double in the third frame. The utility infielder has made 10 starts since earning a promotion in mid-April, slashing .324/.366/.676 with a pair of homers, five doubles and a stolen base in those contests.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Thursday against the Royals.

Lowe took Wily Peralta deep in the ninth inning to give the Rays a two-run lead that ultimately resulted in a Rays win. It was his seventh home run of the season but his first since April 19. He's still managed an impressive .304/.357/.588 line through 112 plate appearances, though Lowe's 33 percent strikeout rate means his average will likely dip as the season wears on.

Frazier went 0-for-5 against Texas on Wednesday and is hitting just .225 in 80 at-bats since April 4.

Frazier has hit leadoff exclusively, and while his defense at second base has proven passable, the team expected more offensively from him: He has only two extra-base hits (both doubles) in his last 16 starts. By comparison, Frazier closed out 2018 with 27 extra-base hits in his final 39 starts. While that finish was unsustainable, he'll have to do better than his current .082 ISO. He was bothered by back spasms in the middle of April but didn't go on the injured list. Despite his struggles, Pittsburgh went out of its way to slot Frazier as its everyday second baseman, allowing former starter Josh Harrison to leave the team without making an offer in the offseason. As a result, Frazier will likely receive plenty of opportunities to break out of his current slump.

Albies went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, a run scored and an RBI in Wednesday's win over the Padres.

The 22-year-old has four multi-hit performances in the last six games, with six of his 10 hits (two doubles, a triple and three homers) over that stretch going for extra bases. Albies is locked in right now -- he's only struck out once in those six games -- and his .292/.344/.573 in 89 at-bats from the leadoff spot figures to keep him at the top of Atlanta's order for the foreseeable future.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in the Dodgers' 2-1 loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

The Dodgers couldn't get anything going against Madison Bumgarner, but Hernandez managed to score his team's only run and record his third multi-hit performance in his last four games. He's slowed down considerably after a torrid start, but he's got his slash line back up to a solid .267/.348/.515 to go along with six homers and 17 RBI through 101 at-bats following this recent stretch.

Marte went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and two runs scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Yankees.

Marte came through at the plate and reached base three times on a day in which the Diamondbacks mustered only seven total baserunners. The 25-year-old is slashing .263/.313/.525 with seven home runs through 30 games.

Rengifo is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays.

Rengifo has started all five games since earning a promotion last week, slashing .250/.316/.375 with a pair of doubles and 2:3 BB:K over that stretch. Tommy La Stella is starting at second base and batting leadoff in his place Wednesday.

Gorman has gone 3-for-7 with two home runs, five RBI, a walk and three runs over his last two games with Low-A Peoria. He's now slashing .325/.389/.650 across 90 plate appearances.

Gorman received a somewhat rude introduction to Low-A last season, hitting just .202 and generating an unsightly .280 on-base percentage across 107 plate appearances. However, hints of the pop he carries in his bat were evident in the six home runs he slugged during that sample. The 19-year-old has been much better in his second go-around, with all three components of his slash line showing significant improvement thus far in the current season. Gorman has already matched last season's home-run total as well, and he's laced 13 extra-base hits overall after managing nine in 17 additional plate appearances in 2018.
