Torres is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Mets, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Had Monday's game not been postponed, there's a good chance that Torres would be included in the lineup for both games of the Subway Series. Instead, with the rainout necessitating a twin bill Tuesday, Torres will get a breather for the afternoon contest, which should provide some extra maintenance for the sore shoulder that kept him out of the lineup for two games last week. Expect Torres to check back into the starting nine for the nightcap, with one of DJ LeMahieu, Gio Urshela or Didi Gregorius likely to head to the bench as a result.

The Mets will recall Guillorme from Triple-A Syracuse to serve as the 26th man for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Yankees, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

With Robinson Cano (quadriceps) recently rejoining Jed Lowrie (hamstring) on the injured list, the Mets aren't brimming with infield depth and will bring Guillorme aboard to provide an extra option off the bench. Guillorme will likely head back to Triple-A at the conclusion of the twin bill.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-2 win over Oakland.

Lowe's sixth-inning shot broke a scoreless tie that the Rays wouldn't concede. It was the third homer in two games for the AL Rookie of the Year candidate. The 24-year-old's OPS has jumped from .862 to .893 since the start of June as he continues to tear the cover off the ball.

Frazier is not in the lineup Monday against the Braves.

Frazier will give way to Colin Moran at the keystone for Monday's series opener following a string of three consecutive starts. Since the start of June, Frazier is slashing .286/.355/.500 with two doubles, two triples and a 2:4 BB:K in eight games.

Chavis is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Chavis has been the Red Sox's primary first baseman of late while Mitch Moreland (quadriceps) and Steve Pearce (back) are both on the injured list. He'll get a rest Monday, with Sam Travis taking over at the position.

Semien, who went 1-for-4 with a two-run double, a walk and two runs in a win over the Rangers on Sunday, is 13-for-31 with two doubles, two home runs and nine RBI over his last seven games.

Semien's bat has been among the most lethal in the Athletics lineup in June, and his aforementioned hot streak has boosted his average 19 points to .272. The veteran shortstop is doing an excellent job out of the leadoff spot this season in terms of setting the table effectively, as his .359 on-base percentage easily ranks as the highest of his career.

Marte went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in an 8-2 victory against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

With this homer, Marte has already set a career high with his 15th homer, topping his previous high-water mark last season. As a result of all these home runs, Marte also owns a career-high .513 slugging percentage. He is batting .268 with 45 RBI, 39 runs and three steals in 261 at-bats this season.

Lowe went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs in a 6-1 victory against the Red Sox on Sunday.

The 24-year-old showcased quite a bit of home-run power early in the year, but this was his first long ball since May 25. However, it didn't take him long to hit his second one after snapping that streak. Lowe is batting .288 with a .544 slugging percentage, 13 home runs, 41 RBI, 32 runs and three steals in 215 at-bats this season.

Merrifield went hitless and struck out twice in four at-bats Sunday in the Royals' 5-2 loss to the White Sox.

After totaling seven hits across his previous three starts against the White Sox, Merrifield saw his run of success come to an end Sunday with Reynaldo Lopez and a trio of relievers silencing the Kansas City offense. Merrifield has still been a major plus for fantasy managers with a .294 batting average, but he hasn't provided much categorical juice lately. Over his last 16 games, he's tallied six RBI, five runs, one home run and no steals.

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Jenny Cavnar of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.

Rodgers heads to the bench after three consecutive starts. Since two of those starts came against left-handed pitchers, it's probably too early to conclude that he's usurped Ryan McMahon as the team's primary option at second base. McMahon has been occupying the larger side of a platoon at the position, and Rodgers' pedestrian .581 OPS since his promotion from Triple-A Albuquerque hasn't helped the rookie's case for eating into McMahon's role.
