Biggio is not in the lineup for Friday's game at Boston.

Biggio will head to the bench Friday with lefty Chris Sale taking the mound for the Red Sox. Eric Sogard will start at the keystone in his stead.

Frazier is not starting Friday against the Padres.

Frazier owns a solid .291/.361/.455 line in the month of June. He'll hit the bench against lefty Eric Lauer on Friday, with Kevin Newman sliding over to second base and Jung Ho Kang starting at shortstop.

Brujan (undisclosed) returned to action with High-A Charlotte on Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base, a run scored and an RBI.

The 21-year-old missed close to a month, but he picked up right where he left off, collecting multiple hits for the 13th time in 40 games this season. He is now slashing .297/.367/.399 with 22 stolen bases in 27 attempts. That speed and his stellar bat-to-ball skills make up for what is only modest power and put Brujan pretty easily among the top 50 prospects for dynasty leagues. It seems likely that he will be challenged with a move up to Double-A later this summer.

Rosario is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Rosario received the day off Sunday and has since found his groove at the plate, going 6-for-15 with two runs scored, two RBI and two doubles in four games. He nonetheless will head to the bench Friday while Adeiny Hechavarria enters the lineup at shortstop.

Diaz went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs and a third run scored for Triple-A New Orleans on Thursday.

The 23-year-old continues to flex his muscles. Diaz now has 16 homers through 70 games this season to go with a .287/.372/.547 slash line, an outstanding first half for a player whose career high in long balls is 20, set in Low-A in 2016. There isn't room in Miami for him as long as Starlin Castro is around, but Diaz could see a late-season promotion if Castro is dealt at the deadline.

Mayfield could serve as the Astros' utility infielder through the All-Star break, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Astros announced that starting shortstop Carlos Correa (ribs) and backup utility infielder Aledmys Diaz (hamstring) will not return before the break, which opens an opportunity for Mayfield to stick around for the next few weeks. Mayfield is not expected to get consistent at-bats, as Astros manager AJ Hinch often deploys Alex Bregman as the primary shortstop and has Jose Altuve back from injury to play second base.

Marte went 4-for-6 with two doubles and a run scored in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Rockies.

Marte may be the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He's recorded multiple hits in five straight games, going 15-for-23 with three doubles, three home runs and seven runs scored. Marte is cruising toward a potential All-Star bid with a team-high .932 OPS and 3.4 WAR.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases and scored twice in Thursday's victory over San Francisco.

Speed is not usually Hernandez's forte -- he had stolen only eight bases in 581 career games coming into Thursday -- but he picked the pocket of Madison Bumgarner twice in the first inning after being hit by a pitch to lead off the game and proceeded to score the game's first run on a Max Muncy single. He later came around to score the Dodgers' sixth run after a single in the fourth inning -- only his 10th hit in 59 at-bats in June. For the season, Hernandez is slashing a meager .210/.282/.382, though he has contributed in the power department with 11 home runs and 37 RBI.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored Thursday against the Astros.

Torres took Framber Valdez deep in the fourth inning to record his 17th homer of the season. It was his second long ball in as many days, accounting for seven RBI and four runs scored in that span. He's maintained an impressive .287/.347/.535 line across 289 plate appearances for the season.

Rengifo went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Blue Jays.

Rengifo slugged a two-run homer to left field in the second inning, and he cut his team's deficit to one in the sixth by singling home a run, his third RBI of the night. The 22-year-old has now registered two or more hits in each of his last three contests, and he's reached base safely in five straight.
