Urias "felt something" on a swing in Friday's game for Triple-A El Paso and exited for precautionary reasons, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. He is considered day-to-day.

Hitters rarely exit games mid at-bat, as Urias did in the fifth inning, due to minor injuries, so some skepticism is warranted regarding this report. However, it is still somewhat comforting that the Padres are downplaying the injury.

Altuve went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-8 loss to the Rangers.

Altuve's homer was just one of nine combined long balls the two teams hit Friday. It was the first home run in 13 games and just the second in the last 34 for the second baseman. The 29-year-old Altuve is not known for his power, although he swatted 24 in both 2016 and 2017, but elite hitting is expected. On that front, Altuve has not delivered in 2019. He's batting just .256 with a .773 OPS over 247 plate appearances.

Marte went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer in Friday's 4-2 win over the Cardinals.

Marte's eighth-inning blast, which extended his hitting streak to six games, provided necessary cushion for the Diamondbacks, who won their fourth straight. The first-time All-Star's breakout season continued apace. Marte has a career-high 21 home runs and his 55 RBI are four shy of his best mark set last season.

Andrus went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in Friday's 9-8 win over the Astros.

While the two teams were busy combining for nine homers on the night, it was the shortstop's speed that proved to be the difference -- after he hit a one-out single in the bottom of the ninth, he swiped second and then scored on Danny Santana's walkoff hit. Andrus is now slashing .304/.342/.451, and with 21 stolen bases, he's topped 20 for the 10th time in his 11-year career.

The availability of Lowe (shin) -- who is projected to remain on the 10-day injured list through the weekend series with the Orioles -- for next week's four-game series versus the Yankees remains "in question" according to manager Kevin Cash, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Lowe's goal of returning in the minimum time will officially go by the wayside Saturday, and the series versus New York would represent his next opportunity to suit up. As Cash's comments indicate, that possibility remains firmly up in the air, although the fact Lowe may be cleared to resume baseball activities this weekend is reason for some optimism.

Semien went 2-for-5 with an RBI triple in Friday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

Semien also had a single in the fifth inning before the seventh-inning triple knocked in Josh Phegley for the Athletics' final run of the night. The three-bagger was Semien's third of the season. The shortstop is hitting .273/.350/.454 with 14 homers, 61 runs scored and 50 RBI this year while also adding five stolen bases.

Urias left Triple-A El Paso's game Friday in the fifth inning during his at-bat after suffering an apparent injury on a swing, Felix Chavez of the El Paso Times reports.

It's typically bad news when a hitter cannot complete an at-bat due to an injury suffered during a swing, and that sounds like it could be the case with Urias. We may not get official word on the nature of the injury until Saturday.

Barreto is not in Friday's lineup against the White Sox.

Barreto has 10 strikeouts, two hits and three errors in 23 at-bats since rejoining the big club. While it was reported that Barreto would get the bulk of the starts at second base upon his promotion, he has done very little to suggest that should remain the case much longer. Jurickson Profar will start at the keystone and hit eighth.

Dubon remains on the bench Friday against the Giants.

Dubon was promoted for the final game before the All-Star break but hasn't started either of the games he's been active for. Orlando Arcia returns from a shoulder injury to start Friday's contest and still appears to be the starter at shortstop despite his uninspiring .239/.300/.406 slash line. Dubon is an interesting prospect who hit .316/.345/.511 at the Triple-A level over the last two seasons, though, so he could eventually threaten Arcia's spot.

Lowe (shin) is not expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list during the Rays' four-game series against the Orioles this weekend, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Lowe's bruised shin cost him the chance to participate in the All-Star Game, though he was originally tracking for a minimum-length stay. The 25-year-old now longer requires the assistance of a walking boot and could resume baseball activities this weekend, even though he won't be activated.
