McNeill is not in the lineup Saturday against the Pirates.

McNeil battled wrist discomfort earlier in the week, though there hasn't been any indication that Saturday's day off is anything other than a routine one. Michael Conforto will start in right field in his absence, with Juan Lagares entering the lineup in center.

Chavis is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Yankees.

Since the start of July, Chavis is hitting .247/.301/.416 with three home runs and a 33.7 percent strikeout rate in 77 at-bats. Brock Holt will start at second base, hitting sixth.

Drury went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-2 win over the Orioles.

The 26-year-old continues to find his way into the lineup, starting eight of the last nine games despite not having a regular position on the field. Drury has homered three times in that span, giving him 12 on the year, but his overall .220/.264/.399 slash line doesn't really warrant that much playing time.

Altuve went 1-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in Friday's 10-2 win over the Mariners.

Altuve's only hit of the night left the yard, a two-run blast that also scored George Springer in the fourth inning. Altuve added his third RBI of the night on a groundout in the eighth inning. Over his last six games, the second baseman has gone 12-for-23 with two homers, six RBI and six runs scored. Overall, the 29-year-old has 17 homers, 44 RBI and 48 runs scored in 75 games this season.

Torres went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and a walk Friday night against Boston.

Torres came through in the first inning, smashing a grand slam over the fence in left field for his team's only offense of the night. Fortunately, it was enough to secure a win in the series opener. The 22-year-old is slashing .288/.355/.505 with 21 homers and 60 RBI over 101 games in 2019.

McNeil (wrist) will man right field and bat leadoff Thursday against the White Sox, Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports reports.

After uncharacteristically striking out three times across five hitless at-bats in Wednesday's 4-2 win, McNeil relayed that he was tending to some discomfort in his right wrist. The Mets' decision not to withhold McNeil from the lineup for Thursday's day game suggests that his wrist issue didn't worsen overnight, so the 27-year-old looks like he'll make for a safe option in fantasy lineups heading into the weekend.

Forsythe started at third base and went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Wednesday's 9-7 win over the Mariners.

Forsythe replaced Asdrubel Cabrera, who was eventually designated for assignment following the game. That obviously opens up playing time at third base, which will provide an opportunity for Forsythe, but the Rangers plan to use Isiah Kiner-Falefa as the primary third baseman for the remainder of the season. Forsythe will continue to move around the infield at third, second and first base.

Chavis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Rays.

The rookie went yard for only the second time since the All-Star break. Chavis is now slashing .263/.333/.463 on the year with 17 homers and 56 RBI through 84 games, and he should continue splitting time on the right side of the infield with Mitch Moreland and Brock Holt as long as Chavis can avoid a significant slump.

McNeil was dealing with right wrist discomfort during Wednesday's win against the White Sox but doesn't expect to miss any time, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

McNeil went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts but never exited the contest, and both he and manager Mickey Callaway downplayed the issue. The 27-year-old expects to be in the lineup Thursday, though a day off to reset wouldn't be a major surprise since he is 3-for-20 in his last six games.

Caballero was traded from the Diamondbacks to the Mariners on Wednesday in exchange for Mike Leake.

Caballero has appeared in 43 games for High-A Visalia this season, posting a .268/.388/.396 slash line with three home runs and 28 stolen bases. Per Greg Johns of MLB.com, the 22-year-old is recovering from a wrist injury and will head to the Arizona Rookie League to rehab before joining High-A Modesto when fully healthy.
