Frazier is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Frazier has started the past five games, going 5-for-20 with a home run and four RBI during that stretch. In his absence, Kevin Newman is covering second base and hitting third.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the Phillies.

The rookie swiped the first bag of his big-league career in the fourth inning. Garcia continues to find success since being added to the roster, hitting .333 (11-for-33) over his last nine games with a homer, a steal, three RBI and five runs.

Mendick went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Wednesday's 10-3 win against Pittsburgh.

The 26-year-old capped off the White Sox's four-run second inning by hitting a two-run shot to right field. Mendick has been a fixture at the bottom of the lineup with Nick Madrigal (shoulder) and Leury Garcia (thumb) sidelined, and he's taken advantage of the opportunity with a .266/.314/.443 slash line and nine runs, three homers and six RBI in 25 games.

Hoerner went 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Tigers.

Hoerner has fallen behind Jason Kipnis in the second base pecking order at the moment, but the former is still a plenty capable hitter. The 23-year-old has a bright future in Chicago, and he could certainly earn more playing time this season if he gets hot and Kipnis falls into a slump.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Wednesday against the Orioles.

Lowe took Asher Wojciechowski deep in the third inning for his 10th homer of the season. After a power surge throughout the middle of August, Lowe has cooled a bit at the plate, as he's now just 3-for-22 across his last six games. Despite a slow stretch at the dish, Lowe is still hitting an impressive .296/.397/.676 with 26 runs scored and 27 RBI across 126 plate appearances to this point in the season.

Dubon is not starting Wednesday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Dubon is hitting .264/.308/.319 with a homer and two stolen bases across 28 games this season. Mike Yastrzemski is covering center field in this one.

Kemp isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Kemp will take a seat with southpaw Kolby Allard on the mound for the Rangers on Wednesday. Franklin Barreto is starting at second base in his absence.

Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Astros.

Rengifo made the most of a start in Game 2 of the twin bill, crushing a 422-foot shot to left field in the fourth inning for his first long ball of the season. The homer was only the second extra-base hit of 2020 for Rengifo, who has struggled to a .157/.283/.235 slash line through 60 plate appearances.

The Dodgers included Lux on their five-man taxi squad for their six-game road trip that began Tuesday in San Francisco, J.P. Hoonstra of The Orange County Register reports.

Lux has yet to make his 2020 debut after a poor showing in summer camp prompted Los Angeles to leave him off its Opening Day roster and send him to the alternate training site for further development. Manager Dave Roberts suggested the Dodgers have been pleased with the progress the 22-year-old has made of late, with Lux notably taking pitcher Tony Gonsolin deep twice in an intrasquad game Monday. Lux could be at the top of the list for a promotion if the Dodgers require another infielder at some point, though it's unclear if he would immediately unseat Chris Taylor as the club's top option at the keystone.

Espinal went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Red Sox.

The former Boston farmhand, acquired a couple years ago for Steve Pearce, showed his old bosses what they were missing both at the plate and in the field. Since taking over as the Jays' main shortstop when Bo Bichette (knee) got hurt, Espinal has three multi-hit performances in his seven starts but is 0-for-11 in the other four games, leading to a .304/.320/.391 slash line during that stretch.
