Dubon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Amy Gutierrez of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Dubon cracked the lineup in each of the team's last three games, but since the Giants faced left-handed starters in all of those contests, the 26-year-old looks to be stuck in a short-side platoon role. As one of the younger players on the 30-man roster, Dubon should see his playing time increase as the season wears on, assuming the 7-9 Giants fade from the playoff picture.

Rengifo will start at second base and bat ninth Sunday against the Rangers.

Since shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) was placed on the 10-day injured list July 28, Rengifo has emerged as the primary beneficiary. With David Fletcher stepping in at Simmons' position, Rengifo has taken over as the Angels' main second baseman -- he'll pick up his ninth start in 10 games Sunday. Despite the steady playing time, Rengifo has yet to heat up at the plate, as he's gotten off to a 4-for-28 start to the season.

Semien went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs overall in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

A forgettable start had his season slash line sitting at .179/.207/.232 two games ago, but Semien has come alive to an extent with a 4-for-11 tally over his last pair of contests. Saturday's home run was his first of the season, particularly noteworthy considering he slugged a career-high 33 homers in 2019. The veteran shortstop still has plenty of work to do -- his 31.9 percent strikeout rate is a career high, while his 2.9 percent walk rate is his lowest since his rookie 2013 campaign -- but his current surge may be an indication that he's beginning an ascension to his career norms.

Drury is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

As expected, Drury has faded into a reserve role since Travis Shaw (personal) was reinstated from the bereavement list Tuesday. He'll be out of the starting nine for a fourth straight game.

Guillorme is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Guillorme has made one start in the Mets' first 16 games and doesn't look set to benefit from Robinson Cano's (groin) recent move to the injured list. Instead, youngster Andres Gimenez looks in line to see the bulk of the action at the keystone while Cano is sidelined.

Gimenez will start at second base and bat eighth Sunday against the Marlins.

He'll enter the starting nine for the fifth time in six games, with his last two turns coming at the keystone. Based on his uptick in usage of late, the 21-year-old looks like set to serve as the primary replacement for Robinson Cano (groin), who was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Gimenez possesses good speed and decent contact skills, but his lack of power and low placement in the Mets lineup limit his overall fantasy upside.

Forsythe is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Forsythe has started four of six games and is 3-for-13 with a home run since joining the Marlins, but he'll head to the bench Sunday. The veteran infielder has already seen time at first base, second base and designated hitter with Miami still missing much of their Opening Day roster.

Torres went a combined 2-for-6 with a run and a walk in Saturday's doubleheader versus Tampa Bay.

Torres entered Game 1 of the twinbill in an 0-for-24 skid, but he was able to notch a hit in each of the two contests Saturday. After a strong 2019 campaign, the 23-year-old is slashing .146/.212/.208 with only one home run in 52 plate appearances this season.

The Yankees recalled Estrada from their alternate training site Sunday.

One day after optioning Estrada, the Yankees will bring him back on the active roster with the team requiring a replacement for injured outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring). While Stanton's absence creates an everyday opening at designated hitter, Estrada isn't expected to be viewed as a solution there. Instead, the 24-year-old will fill a utility infield role while he's up with the club.

Lopez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-6 win over the Twins. He was also caught stealing.

Lopez did not let his caught stealing in the second inning get him down; the second baseman bounced back in the fourth with his first long ball of the year. It was just his second extra-base hit of the season and Lopez still has a ways to go before he can be considered a viable mixed-league candidate.
