Taylor Motter 2B | STL
Reds' Taylor Motter: Returned to Triple-A
Motter was returned to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
Motter joined the Reds for their three-game series in Toronto this past weekend after four players were placed on the restricted list Friday. He appeared in two games while going 1-for-6 at the dish. With Cincinnati returning to the United States and getting all of the players back from the restricted list in advance of its four-game series with the Cubs that begins Monday, Motter will lose his spot on the 26-man active roster in addition to the 40-man rosters.

Reds' Brandon Drury: Returns to team
Drury was reinstated from the restricted list Monday prior to the Reds' series against the Cubs.
Due to COVID restrictions, Drury was unable to travel to Canada and play the Blue Jays this past weekend, instead being placed on the restricted list. He'll return to the Reds for their four-game series versus the Cubs on Monday. After a hot start to May, Drury has batted .138 with two extra-base hits and four RBI over his last eight games.

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Crosses plate twice Sunday
Albies went 1-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.
He nearly led Atlanta to a ninth-inning comeback from a 4-1 deficit, doubling home Travis d'Arnaud before scoring himself on a Dansby Swanson groundout, but no one else on the team stepped up. Albies has hit safely in five straight games and is slashing .266/.272/.316 through 19 contests in May with a steal, six RBI and 12 runs, though he hasn't homered since April 23.

Christian Arroyo 2B | NYM
Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Slots in at DH
Arroyo replaced an injured J.D. Martinez (back) as the designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-4 extra-inning win over the Mariners.
Martinez was a late scratch and will get another 24 hours of rest with Monday's off day before Tuesday's series opener against the White Sox. "He's doing OK. Just a tight back," Red Sox manager Alex Cora told Ian Browne of MLB.com. "Give him today, give him tomorrow and let's see where he's at on Tuesday." It's uncertain if Arroyo will get the call in Chicago if Martinez is unavailable.

The 26-year-old is up to a .242/.291/.303 slash line with no home runs, 10 RBI, 16 runs scored, four doubles and two triples through 33 contests. Through his first three major-league contests, the slugger is 5-for-10 with two walks, two doubles, an RBI and four runs scored. He has been excellent since being recalled from Triple-A earlier this month and has a solid .313/.421/.438 batting line in 39 plate appearances. With five straight starts at the keystone, the 25-year-old appears to be Los Angeles' primary second baseman while David Fletcher (hip) is on the injured list.
