Anthony Seigler C | MIL
Brewers' Anthony Seigler: Officially added to roster
The Brewers selected Seigler's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.
Seigler is a versatile player capable of handling catcher, second base and third base. He's a switch hitter but is a much better hitter from the left side of the plate, as he posted a .975 OPS against righties as compared to a .445 OPS versus lefties this season at Nashville. The 26-year-old is also a capable baserunner, having gone 20-for-23 on stolen-base attempts over 63 games in 2025. Seigler will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | SF
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Multi-hit effort in defeat
Fitzgerald went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Called up from Triple-A Sacramento before Monday's game, Fitzgerald lined a double to left field in the fifth inning. He then added a two-run double in the seventh to tie the game at 2-2. The 27-year-old infielder delivered his first multi-hit performance since June 11 after going 0-for-11 in his last six big-league appearances. Fitzgerald appeared in 21 games in June, slashing .155/.219/.207 with five RBI, three doubles, two runs scored and two stolen bases across 68 plate appearances during that span.

JJ Wetherholt 2B | STL
Cardinals' JJ Wetherholt: Selected for Futures Game
Wetherholt has been selected to represent the Cardinals in the All-Star Futures Game, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Wetherholt has been excellent at Double-A Springfield in his first full pro season, slashing .305/.430/.453 with five home runs, 13 stolen bases and a 35:41 K:BB. The No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, Wetherholt dealt with hamstring issues in college at West Virginia, but he has stayed healthy in pro ball. The 22-year-old could be considered for a promotion to Triple-A Memphis soon.

Matt McLain SS | CIN
Reds' Matt McLain: Three hits in loss
McLain went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 13-6 loss to Boston.
McLain has cooled off a bit since he was moved from the bottom of the order to second, but he's still hitting much better than he was through much of April and May. In the eight games since the promotion, McLain is batting .250 (8-for-32) with a home run, a double, four RBI and six runs scored. His .213 batting average is the highest its been since early April.

Cole Young SS | SEA
Mariners' Cole Young: Racks up three hits
Young went 3-for-4 with one run scored in Monday's 6-2 win over the Royals.
Young has settled in at the plate fairly well lately, going 10-for-31 (.323) over his last nine games. He's drawn just one walk in that span, but he also just four strikeouts, which is a showcase of the steady plate discipline that helped him reach the majors as a 21-year-old. Overall, Young has a .259/.297/.306 slash line with no home runs, seven RBI, eight runs scored, four doubles and no stolen bases. He's a contact-over-power player at the plate, and the speed should show up eventually -- he had 22 steals, albeit on 33 attempts, with Double-A Arkansas in 2024.

Michael Helman 2B | TEX
Rangers' Michael Helman: Capitalizes on error
Helman went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 10-6 extra-innings loss to the Orioles.
Helman earned his first start of the season in center field, covering for the absence of Evan Carter (personal), who is set to rejoin the Rangers on Wednesday. Helman was able to get aboard with a walk in the seventh, then stole second and came around to score after Gary Sanchez's attempt to throw him out went into the outfield, followed by Sanchez bobbling the return throw home. Helman's been up with the Rangers since Friday, appearing in two games, but his playing time will likely remain limited once the team is closer to full strength again. He'll likely get most of his starts against left-handed pitchers, and Helman could be the one to lose his roster spot once Wyatt Langford (oblique) is ready to return.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Perfect at plate Monday
Semien went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Monday's 10-6 extra-innings loss to the Orioles.
Semien got the Rangers on the board with his sixth-inning blast off Trevor Rogers. During his six-game hitting streak, Semien has gone 11-for-29 (.379) with three extra-base hits and five RBI. The second baseman is up to eight homers, 37 RBI, 34 runs scored, six stolen bases and a .237/.313/.355 slash line on the year, though he has consistently trended upward by hitting .324 with 14 extra-base hits over 26 contests in June.

Christian Koss SS | SF
Giants' Christian Koss: Injures hamstring Monday
Koss suffered a left hamstring injury in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks and won't be available to play Tuesday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Koss tweaked his hamstring while running out a groundout during his third at-bat of the game, but he was able to stay in the contest and later hit a ground-rule double in the top of the eighth before Brett Wisely was called upon off the bench to pinch run for him. It's unclear if Koss will need to head to the injured list, as the Giants will presumably send him in for further testing before making a decision. The loss of Koss even for just one game will significantly test the Giants' depth at third base, where Casey Schmitt (wrist) recently joined Matt Chapman (hand) on the injured list. Wisely played the final inning of Monday's game at third base and will presumably be the top option to start at the position Tuesday.

Jazz Chisholm CF | NYY
Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Pops 14th homer in loss
Chisholm went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Monday's 5-4 loss to Toronto.
The New York infielder opened the contest's scoring with a 367-foot, two-run blast off Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer in the fourth inning. This performance wrapped an impressive month for Chisholm after he missed all of May with an oblique injury. Across 24 games in June, the 27-year-old hit .318 (28-for-88) with seven homers, 20 RBI and 15 runs scored while going 4-for-5 on steal attempts. Through 224 total plate appearances, Chisholm his slashing .244/.336/.508 with 37 RBI and 32 runs scored.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Pilfers 13th bag
Stott went 1-for-3 with a steal, a walk and a run scored in Monday's 4-0 win versus the Padres.
Stott swiped his second base of the month when he took second off San Diego starter Matt Waldron in the fourth. June was tough for the Philadelphia second baseman, as he entered this contest with an anemic .210/.289/.272 slash line over 90 plate appearances. Perhaps this stolen base, his first since June 18, can kickstart Stott, who now sports a .244 average, five homers, 36 runs scored and 35 RBI while going 13-for-16 on steal attempts across 77 games.
