India (lower leg) isn't starting Saturday's game against the Cubs.

India sustained a lower leg contusion during Thursday's Field of Dreams Game against the Cubs and was airlifted to the hospital afterward, but he's considered day-to-day for now. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench Saturday, but Matt Reynolds will start at the keystone and bat sixth.

Kim is expected to continue as the Padres' everyday shortstop with Fernando Tatis suspended into next season, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.

There were questions about how Tatis' imminent return would impact Kim's playing time, but with the former handed an 80-game ban Friday for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, those questions are now moot. Though the loss of Tatis for this campaign and beyond is massively disappointing for the Padres, there is at least some consolation in the fact that Kim has been a defensive standout this season and has shown improvement at the plate. Since July 1, Kim is slashing .301/.344/.442 with two home runs, 15 RBI, 13 runs and four stolen bases over 35 games.

Frazier went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs in a win over the Rangers on Friday.

Operating out of the No. 7 spot in the order, Frazier delivered one of three multi-hit efforts for the Mariners. The veteran came into the night mired in a 3-for-27 slump that had encompassed his previous seven contests, although the .130 BABIP he was saddled with during that span certainly didn't help matters.

Lowe isn't starting Saturday's game against the Orioles.

Lowe has started against just six left-handed pitchers this year, and he'll take a seat with southpaw DL Hall starting for Baltimore on Saturday. Yu Chang will take over at second base and lead off.

Drury went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and three total runs in Friday's 10-5 win against the Nationals.

Drury's eighth-inning, two-run homer was his second long ball in as many games and accounted for the Padres' final runs in the contest. Since coming over from Cincinnati in a trade-deadline deal, the versatile veteran has gone deep three times in nine games, adding 12 RBI and scoring seven runs. He's come out of nowhere this season to slug 23 homers, seven more than his previous career high set in 2016 with Arizona.

Merrifield isn't starting Saturday against the Guardians.

Merrifield will get a day off after he went 1-for-10 with a walk and two strikeouts over the last three games. Raimel Tapia is staring in center field while Santiago Espinal starts at second base.

Hernandez (hip) started in center field and went 0-for-3 for Double-A Portland on Friday.

This was Hernandez's second game on a rehab assignment with the Sea Dogs after playing five innings in center field Wednesday. He upped that to seven innings Friday and is expected suit up again Saturday. He'll take Sunday off and return to Fenway Park for evaluation ahead of possibly being activated for a series against the Pirates beginning Tuesday.

Stott went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 2-1 win over the Mets.

Batting leadoff for the first time in his MLB career, Stott produced his second career game with at least three hits. He was also hit by a pitch and managed to reach base in all four plate appearances against Max Scherzer. The rookie infielder has gone 10-for-19 (.526) with six runs scored over his last five games, raising his season slash line to .219/.282/.341.

McNeil's early exit from Friday's game against the Phillies was due to a cut on his hand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

McNeil left the game after colliding with Rhys Hoskins at first base while trying to run out a grounder, but he's seemingly avoided a serious injury. While he could still wind up sitting for at least a few days, the issue doesn't appear to be a long-term concern. The cut is on McNeil's right thumb, per Tim Healey of Newsday.

McNeil exited Friday's game against the Phillies for undisclosed reasons, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

The Mets have yet to give a reason for McNeil's early exit, but it likely stems from his collision with Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins while trying to run out a groundball. Luis Guillorme entered the game in his absence.
