Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Won't be activated Friday
Forsythe (toe/hamstring) won't be activated from the disabled list Friday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Forsythe was pulled from Wednesday's rehab game after just one at-bat with hamstring tightness, so it isn't too surprising that he won't be activated Friday. It's unclear how long this latest ailment will set Forsythe back, though he was originally scheduled for three rehab games and only made it through one, so it could be a little while before he is back.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: May need more time off
The Pirates haven't decided whether Frazier (hamstring) will go on a rehab stint prior to coming off the disabled list. He was initially expected to miss no more than 10 days, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
Head trainer Todd Tomczyk said Wednesday that Frazier has re-engaged back into baseball activity such as fielding groundballs, taking batting practice and running and jogging. "We are still in the early stages of seeing how his body responds to that," Tomczyk said. It's looking like Frazier could miss at least part of the weekend series against Milwaukee.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Not included in Thursday order
Drury is not in the Diamondbacks' Thursday lineup against the Nationals.
The infielder has finally started to show a bit of thump recently but won't get a chance to build on it against Washington's Max Scherzer. Daniel Descalso will take Drury's spot at second base Thursday.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Exits rehab game early
Forsythe (toe) was lifted prematurely from Wednesday's rehab game, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Forsythe lasted just one at-bat before being forced out of the game with an apparent injury. There is no word on the specifics of the injury yet, but it appears this possible setback could delay his return to the Dodgers. More should be known about his status in the coming days, so expect an update when further information is available.

Yangervis Solarte 2B | SD
Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Ends power drought Tuesday
Solarte went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.
Solarte snapped a 21-game homerless streak Tuesday, taking Tyler Chatwood deep in the sixth. The veteran second baseman has been hitting well early on, batting .282 through 28 games. The power is the only part of his game that hasn't come along yet (only eight of 29 hits have gone for extra bases), but Tuesday's long ball could get him back on track in that department. After hitting 15 home runs in 443 plate appearances last season, there is a realistic chance that the 29-year-old could reach the 20-homer mark over the course of a full season.

Isan Diaz 2B | DET
Brewers' Isan Diaz: Picks up the pace at the plate
Diaz homered in a game with High-A Carolina on Monday for the second straight day, extending his hitting streak to 11 games in the process.
Diaz owned just a .507 OPS when play came to a close April 20, but he has picked things up in a big way since, totaling four home runs and 14 RBI during his hitting streak. Thanks to his hot streak, he now owns a .788 OPS through 24 games this season.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Will need some rehab games
Forsythe (toe) will need two or three rehab games before rejoining the Dodgers, SB Nation's Eric Stephen reports.
Prior reports said Forsythe would be activated Friday, when he's eligible to return from the 10-day disabled list. While that's still a possibility, manager Dave Roberts said there's no plan to rush him back, so Forsythe will get all the time he needs to recover. It's starting to look like he won't return until next week.

Cristhian Adames 2B | MIA
Rockies' Cristhian Adames: Designated for assignment Sunday
Adames was designated for assignment Sunday.
With Ian Desmond returning from injury to make his Rockies debut Sunday, Adames was the unfortunate party designated for assignment to open up a roster spot. The 25-year-old went hitless in 14 plate appearances during April but is still a candidate to be claimed by another team.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Set to return Friday
Forsythe (toe) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday or Thursday and expects to be activated from the 10-day disabled list Friday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
Forsythe was placed on the disabled list on April 19 with a fractured toe on his right foot. His rehab has progressed smoothly, and assuming everything goes well in his minor-league rehab game, he's slated to return for the start of the series against the Padres on Friday. The second baseman was hitting .295 prior to his injury.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Blasts first Triple-A home run Saturday
Rosario hit his first homer at Triple-A Las Vegas and raised his average to .407 on Saturday.
Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, and Rosario may force his way up to the Mets sooner than expected if he continues to hit like this. Jose Reyes has started to heat up as well, which may buy the Mets some time. But if he slumps and/or Asdrubal Cabrera's hamstring acts up again, Rosario is just a phone call away at Triple-A.
