  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Holding down full-time role

Frazier will start at second base and bat second Sunday against the Reds.

Frazier will pick up his fourth consecutive start and remain in the lineup for the 17th time in 18 games, with Gregory Polanco's (hamstring) placement on the disabled list earlier in August effectively allowing the utility man to reclaim an everyday role. After a rough finish to the first half, Frazier has been sizzling since the All-Star break, submitting a .336/.395/.464 line to go with 17 RBI and 12 runs in 36 games. Even once Polanco returns, the Pirates should find a way to keep the versatile Frazier in the lineup for at least a handful of starts per week.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Leaves game with hamstring tightness

Marte left Saturday's game with left hamstring tightness.

He was lifted after flying out to right field in the bottom of the fifth inning, with Adam Rosales shifting over to shortstop and Daniel Descalso entering the game at third base. The Diamondbacks are off Monday, so they may opt to wait and see how Marte feels after a couple days of rest before making any DL decisions.

  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Returns to bench

Tomlinson moved back to the bench following Joe Panik's activation off the disabled list Friday.

The speedy infielder provided modest fantasy value with a .293 batting average and three stolen bases in 11 games while Panik dealt with a concussion. Tomlinson will resume his regular utility role and can safely be ignored in most fantasy leagues.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Hits fourth homer Friday

Forsythe went 1-for-3 with a home run and a steal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

It was just Forsythe's fourth long ball of the season and his first since July 6. The 30-year-old has failed to replicate last year's 20-homer output and his disappointing .241/.370/.335 slash line has been a sore sight in an otherwise dominating Dodgers lineup. Forsythe will have to turn things around quickly or run the risk of losing at-bats once Cody Bellinger (ankle) makes his return from the disabled list.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Out of Friday's lineup

Solarte is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins.

After driving in six runs Tuesday, Solarte has gone 0-for-8 over the Padres' last two outings. With Dusty Coleman starting at shortstop and hitting eighth, Solarte will head to the bench.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Steals first base of season Thursday

Marte went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base and an RBI in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Mets.

Marte plated the Diamondbacks' second run of the afternoon on a fifth-inning sacrifice fly, giving him his first RBI in nine starts. Perhaps more surprising than Marte's extended run-producing drought was the fact that the stolen base he collected earlier in the contest was his first of the season, as the 23-year-old had been a regular threat to run during the minors and in his debut campaign of 2015 with the Mariners. Though he's not quite as active on the bases as he used to be, Marte has at least traded the lack of steals for more power, which has allowed him to settle into an everyday role with the Diamondbacks. Marte's .779 OPS on the campaign is 101 points above his career mark.

  • Amed Rosario 3B | NYY

Mets' Amed Rosario: Triples, homers in losing cause

Rosario went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a solo homer in Tuesday's loss to Arizona.

The rookie shortstop hasn't taken too long to get acclimated to the majors -- after starting out just 5-for-31 (.161), he's since gone 14-for-43 (.326) with three homers and three steals over the last 12 games. Rosario has struck out a lot, but that's understandable for a 21-year-old in his first taste of the big leagues, and his minor-league numbers suggest we'll see his plate discipline improve with time. He makes for a fine play in deeper formats down the stretch.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Drives in six Tuesday

Solarte went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and six RBI during Tuesday's blowout win over the Cardinals.

Solarte roped a bases-clearing double in the third inning and added another RBI double in the fifth. He capped off the scoring with a towering 455-foot two-run blast in the eighth inning to notch his fifth and sixth RBI of the night. The 30-year-old has two home runs in his past three games and is on pace to set a single-season career high in home runs this season, though his slugging percentage is down from last year.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Takes seat Monday

Forsythe is not in the lineup Monday against the Pirates, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Forsythe is 0-for-7 over his last two games, so he'll head to the bench for a breather after starting five straight games. Chase Utley will take over for him at second base for the contest, batting eighth.

  • Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Swats three extra-base hits Sunday

Drury went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two doubles and two runs scored during Sunday's loss to Minnesota.

After losing out on playing time, Drury suited up for all three games during the series against Minnesota. Obviously, the ability to utilize a designated hitter opened additionally opportunities for Drury, but this showing should help him receive more starts moving forward. After all, he's now registered six extra-base hits through his past 21 at-bats. Still, he's far from a reliable fantasy option at this stage of the game.
