Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Smacks clutch home run
Stott went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer and a pair of walks in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Reds.
Stott's homer, his sixth of the season, proved to be the decisive blow in the win -- the second baseman drove a two-strike pitch from Tony Santillan 405 feet over the right-field fence to put the Phillies ahead in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old Stott had been slumping coming into the day, going just 2-for-20 over his previous six contests. Overall, he's slashing .238/.310/.340 with 37 runs scored, 37 RBI and 13 stolen bases across 327 plate appearances this year.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Tommy Edman: Managing toe injury
Edman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros due to a right pinkie toe injury, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
It's unclear when Edman sustained the injury, but he'll sit for Sunday's series finale after starting the previous six contests. The utility man made his past three starts at second base, but he's expected to shift to the hot corner against right-handed pitchers this week to fill in for Max Muncy (knee), assuming Edman can overcome the toe issue.

Kyle Farmer 3B | ATL
Rockies' Kyle Farmer: Serving as DH on Sunday
Farmer will start at designated hitter and bat sixth Sunday against the White Sox.
Farmer has been getting most of his starts against left-handed pitching lately, but he'll crack the lineup Sunday with righty Shane Smith on the hill. Since the start of June, Farmer has batted .178 with one home run and a 1:13 BB:K over a stretch of 16 games.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Idle against southpaw
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
The Red Sox are sending Garrett Crochet to the hill, so Garcia will retreat to the bench after starting the first two games of the series. Amed Rosario will replace Garcia at second base.

Brett Wisely 2B | ATL
Giants' Brett Wisely: Multi-hit effort in win
Wisely went 2-for-4 with a two-RBI double in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Athletics.
Wisely lined a two-run double to right field in the sixth inning, giving the Giants a 7-1 lead. He added a single in the eighth, delivering his second multi-hit performance through four appearances in July. During that span, he's batting .385 with four RBI, two runs scored, two doubles and one home run across 13 plate appearances.

Blaze Alexander SS | BAL
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Makes third straight start
Alexander started at second base and went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Royals.
Alexander spelled Ketel Marte, who was given the day off, and made a third consecutive start. On Thursday, Alexander played second while Marte operated as the designated hitter, and the former started at third base Friday while Eugenio Suarez was the DH. Alexander is in line to take that utility fill-in role that had belonged to Tim Tawa, who was sent down to Triple-A Reno on Saturday to clear a roster spot for Corbin Carroll's return from a wrist injury.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Drives in three runs in loss
Rojas went 2-for-2 with a home run and three total RBI in a loss to the Astros on Saturday.
Rojas plated three of the Dodgers' four runs in the contest, knocking an RBI single in the second inning and adding a two-run homer in the fourth. He's been displaying more than his usual amount of power of late, homering three times in 21 at-bats over his past 11 games. Rojas had gone deep just once over his first 41 contests, and he's never hit more than 11 home runs in an MLB season, so fantasy managers shouldn't see him as a reliable source of power.

Jake Cronenworth 1B | SD
Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Goes deep in loss
Cronenworth went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk Saturday in a loss to the Rangers.
Cronenworth logged the Padres' only extra-base hit with a two-run blast in the second inning. He added a single in the fourth frame for his first multi-hit effort over his past 13 games. It's been a grind for Cronenworth of late, as he's batting just .184 (7-for-38) over his past 12 contests. He does have three home runs and eight RBI over that span, though.

Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Keeps mashing left-handed pitching
Sosa went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Reds.
Sosa belted his third homer of the campaign, also drawing the start at second base in favor the lefty-hitting Bryson Stott versus southpaw Nick Lodolo. As long as Philadelphia's infield stays healthy, the righty-hitting Sosa should continue to be used sparingly in a weak-side platoon role at the keystone. The 29-year-old utility man has been very effective in that role, hitting .361 (12-for-61) with three homers, three doubles and 10 RBI against left-handed pitching this season.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Idle Saturday
Marte isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
Ketel has gone 4-for-12 with two home runs over his last three games but will retreat to the dugout for Saturday's contest, Blaze Alexander will take over at the keystone and bat ninth.
