Frazier went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Royals.
He swatted his fifth homer of the year in the third inning, giving the Pirates a 3-1 lead that Trevor Williams quickly squandered. It was Frazier's first long ball since Aug. 22, but he's been making solid contact despite the power drought, slashing .292/.378/.354 over his last 20 games.

Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Hits solo homer
Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to Houston on Saturday.
Hernandez made his mark in the second inning, following a Chris Taylor home run with one of his own. The long ball was the second in three games for Hernandez, who is slashing .239/.281/.434 with five homers on the season.

Gimenez isn't starting Saturday against the Blue Jays.
Gimenez is currently riding a seven-game hitting streak, and he'll get a breather Saturday. Amed Rosario will start at shortstop.

Rojas isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.
Rojas has been effective at the plate recently, going 6-for-18 with six runs and two strikeouts over the last four games. However, he'll take a seat Saturday with Josh VanMeter starting at second base.

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Back in action Friday
Garcia (heel) is starting at second base and batting seventh Friday against the Braves.
The 20-year-old has been sidelined by the bruised heel since last weekend, but he'll return to the starting nine for Friday's series opener. Garcia has a .293/.321/.387 slash line with one home run and one stolen base through his first 22 big-league games.

Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Plates three runs
Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base, a run scored and three RBI in a victory versus Cincinnati on Thursday.
Hoerner got the Cubs on the board in the fourth inning with a two-run double and brought home another score with an RBI fielder's choice in the fifth. Despite getting inconsistent playing time, the 23-year-old has enjoyed a strong September, hitting .375 (6-for-16) with three RBI.

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Not starting Thursday
Lux isn't in Thursday's lineup against the Diamondbacks.
After going 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI on Tuesday, Lux went hitless with one RBI and one strikeout over five at-bats Wednesday. He'll get a breather for the series finale as Mookie Betts shifts to second base with Enrique Hernandez starting in right field.

Marlins' Isan Diaz: Recalled from satellite camp
Diaz was recalled from the Marlins' alternate training site Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
He probably won't see regular playing time with Jazz Chisholm and Miguel Rojas handling the bulk of the middle-infield work, but Diaz could see a start here and there down the stretch. Diaz originally opted out of the season but changed his mind and was reinstated earlier this week.

Garcia (heel) won't return until Friday against Atlanta at the earliest, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
He has dealt with a bruised heel since Sunday. Josh Harrison is starting at second base and batting sixth in his stead.
