Donovan went 2-for-5 with four walks, a stolen base and two runs scored across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

Donovan's plate discipline has taken a turn skyward lately, as he's walked nine times in the last seven games. The utility man has seen the bulk of his playing time at shortstop or third base -- he'll be part of the mix at the former position in competition with Edmundo Sosa as manager Oli Marmol evaluates his options for a starting role. Donovan is slashing a strong .323/.488/.548 with a home run, five RBI, nine runs scored, a steal and four doubles through his first 18 major-league games.

Gorman went 3-for-5 with a double and a homer for Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, lifting his season line to .295/.357/.674 with 15 homers and three steals.

Incredibly, he's somehow only driven in 23 runs, as the overwhelming majority of Gorman's long balls have been solo shots. Nonetheless, Gorman continues to hit the ball hard whenever he makes contact, with his homer total ranking second in the minors, behind only fellow Cardinals prospect Moises Gomez. Of course, that "whenever he makes contact" part is a major caveat, as Gorman has a painful 34.3 percent strikeout rate. Major-league pitchers will take advantage of that, meaning Gorman will have trouble maintaining much in the way of batting average even if he can put the ball over the fence fairly regularly.

Marte (hand) isn't starting Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Marte was scratched from the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader due to a sore left hand, and he'll be out of the lineup for a second straight game. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench, but Jake Hager will start at the keystone and bat ninth.

Albies went 1-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Milwaukee.

With three doubles in his last five games, Albies is beginning to tap into more power, but he remains in the midst of a long home-run drought that dates back to April 23. Even though he's moved to a typically run-producing-friendly role in the middle of the order since Ronald Acuna was cleared to make his season debut in late April, Albies has driven in only four runs over his last 21 games. Albies will remain in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale in Milwaukee, manning second base and batting fifth.

McNeil went 3-for-8 with a double, a run scored and two RBI across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader split with the Cardinals.

The 30-year-old drove in runs in both ends of the twin bill, smacking an RBI double in the third inning of the matinee before adding a game-tying single in the eighth inning of the nightcap before St. Louis salvaged a split by scoring in the ninth. McNeil extended his RBI streak to four games in the process, but while he's slashing a solid .293/.344/.362 through 16 contests in May, that come with zero homers or steals, six runs and seven RBI.

Manager David Bell said India (hamstring) will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Cincinnati on Monday, and the second baseman could subsequently begin a minor-league rehab assignment, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined by hamstring soreness since late April, and he's been taking part in baseball activities throughout the past week. It's unclear how many rehab games India will require before being activated from the injured list, but a return late next week could be in store if he begins the rehab stint shortly after Monday's evaluation.

Marte was scratched from Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers due to left hand soreness, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Marte came off the bench during Game 1 and apparently suffered the injury during his last at-bat, and he was spotted icing his hand between the two contests. The 28-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available on the injury.

Marte was scratched from the lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers for unspecified reasons.

Marte was originally in the lineup for Tuesday's nightcap but was absent from an updated starting nine for undisclosed reasons. He came off the bench in Game 1 and went 2-for-2 with two RBI, and it's unlikely the Diamondbacks would opt to keep him out of the lineup for both games of the twin bill without some sort of injury.

Stott will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Padres.

Stott will be awarded his third start in four games, but he still looks like he may be stuck in a timeshare at shortstop with Johan Camargo until Didi Gregorius (knee) returns from the IL. The rookie recently turned in a career-best performance at the plate in Friday's 12-10 win over the Dodgers, going 2-for-3 with two walks, three RBI and two runs. In his first 13 big-league games, Stott hit .111 with two walks, four RBI and one run.

Marte will sit for the afternoon portion of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers.

Marte has hit .333/.419/.630 over his last 15 games, a dramatic reversal from the .135/.207/.203 line he recorded over his first 20. He won't be asked to start twice in one day Tuesday, so Jake Hager will get the call at second base for the afternoon contest.
