  • Ronny Mauricio 2B | NYM

Mets' Ronny Mauricio: Launches first career homer

Mauricio went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

With the score tied 1-1 in the fourth inning, Mauricio put the Mets in the lead for good by ripping a Ryne Nelson fastball just fair down the right-field line. It was the first career big-league homer for the 22-year-old infielder, who is batting .306 (11-for-36) through his first 38 MLB plate appearances with two doubles, two runs, five RBI and a perfect 4-for-4 performance on steal attempts. Mauricio is also posting some impressive Statcast numbers with a 91.9 mph average exit velocity that is comparable to Mike Trout's and a 50.0 percent hard-hit rate that would rank in the 90th percentile if he had enough playing time to qualify. Only seven players this season have hit a ball harder than Mauricio's 117.3 mph max exit velocity, a list that includes Ronald Acuna, Matt Olson and Shohei Ohtani.

  • Luis Arraez 2B | SF

Marlins' Luis Arraez: Belts leadoff homer

Arraez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Brewers.

Arraez started Tuesday's game with fireworks, swatting his seventh long ball of the season in the first inning off Freddy Peralta. However, Arraez would be the only Marlin to cross home plate, as they ultimately fell 3-1. Through 10 games this month, Arraez is 13-for-39 (.333) with eight runs scored and six RBI while striking out just 4.8 percent of the time.

  • Nolan Gorman 2B | STL

Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Exits with hamstring tightness

Gorman was removed from Tuesday's game against the Orioles due to right hamstring tightness, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Gorman had to leave Tuesday's game after injuring himself while legging out an infield single in the second inning. There's still no word on how severe Gorman's injury is, but the Cardinals will likely offer more details before Wednesday's contest. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the time being.

  • Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Day off Tuesday

Kim isn't in the Padres' lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Kim will get a rare day off Tuesday after slashing just .195/.267/.195 across 46 plate appearances since Sept. 1. Matthew Batten will start at second base Tuesday while Eguy Rosario gets the nod at third and bats ninth.

Ji Hwan Bae will play second base and bat leadoff against the Nats and right-hander Joan Adon. Jack Suwinski is in center field and hitting cleanup. Peguero has put up solid numbers versus lefties this season, but he is slashing just .198/.243/.396 in 105 plate appearances versus righties.

  • Luis Garcia 2B | WAS

Nationals' Luis Garcia: On bench against lefty

Garcia is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Pirates.

  • Bryson Stott 2B | PHI

Phillies' Bryson Stott: Not in lineup Tuesday

Stott is not in the lineup Tuesday against Atlanta.

Edmundo Sosa will start at second base and bat seventh as the Phillies go heavy on right-handed hitters against ace left-hander Max Fried. Stott played both halves of Monday's doubleheader and went 1-for-8 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

  • Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH

Mets' Jeff McNeil: Three hits, homer Monday

McNeil went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss against the Diamondbacks.

McNeil got the Mets on the board in the fourth inning with a homer of Zach Davies, his eighth of the year. While it's been a down year for McNeil overall, he's hit well down the stretch, batting .309 (47-for-152) with five homers, four steals and a .806 OPS in 38 games since the start of August. On the season, he's slashing .268/.333/.367 with 67 runs scored and 50 RBI through 588 plate appearances.

  • Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Registers 35th steal

Kim went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 11-8 win over the Dodgers.

Kim's hitting has dropped off a bit in September -- he's gone 8-for-41 (.195) this month, but he's still managed to pick up six steals in his last 10 games. The infielder is up to 35 steals this season, good for eighth in the majors. He's also slashing .270/.361/.416 with 17 home runs, 58 RBI, 80 runs scored and 20 doubles over 140 games.
