Semien went 3-for-5 with a two-run double and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

The career .251 hitter is due for some regression, but Semien has undeniably enjoyed a torrid first three weeks-plus to open the season. The 28-year-old now owns a seven-game hitting streak, and he's reached safely in 11 consecutive games overall. His two RBI on Sunday also give him seven over the last five contests, and he already boasts nine extra-base hits (six doubles, three home runs) over his first 83 plate appearances of 2019.

Lowe went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Lowe's torrid April continued with his fifth multi-hit effort of the month. The 24-year-old has wowed with tape-measure home runs, but he's also checked off plenty of other boxes. Lowe has drawn five walks, laced three doubles and swiped a pair of bags during April while knocking in 10 runs. Lowe's body of work is already affording him regular playing time, and Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Joey Wendle's impending return from a hamstring injury will allow Lowe to resume working at first base.

Beckham went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Beckham tied the game with a two-run blast to center in the second inning, but the Twins would respond with a run of their own in the bottom half of the frame and never looked back. The 32-year-old's playing time has been sporadic through the first few weeks of 2019, and he's 3-for-17 with two homers and three RBI over seven games.

Andrus went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Athletics.

Andrus got involved immediately with a two-run triple in the first inning and, after Nomar Mazara was hit by a pitch, stole home on Oakland starter Brett Anderson's slow pickoff move to first base. He later helped fuel Texas' come-from-behind win with a solo home run in the seventh. This was the fourth consecutive multi-hit game for Andrus, whose .414 batting average ranks third in MLB.

Beckham is starting at shortstop and batting eighth in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Regular shortstop Jordy Mercer injured his quadriceps in Saturday's game and was placed on the 10-day injured list, so Detroit has playing time for the taking in the short term. Beckham is slashing .154/.313/.462 through 13 at-bats this season with a home run and two runs scored.

Forsythe will start at second base and bat fifth Sunday against the Athletics.

Forsythe had been ticketed for primary duties at first base after Ronald Guzman (hamstring) was placed on the injured list April 7, but the 32-year-old has since shifted over to the keystone after Rougned Odor (knee) joined Guzman on the shelf. Until both injured players are back in action, Forsythe should have an unimpeded path to an everyday role. That makes him a player of interest in deeper mixed leagues or AL-only formats, where stable at-bats can often be difficult to find on the waiver wire.

Rodriguez will start at second base and bat seventh Sunday against the Twins.

Rodriguez was summoned from the minors to replace the injured Jordy Mercer (quadriceps) on the active roster, but he'll actually enter the lineup in place of Josh Harrison, who is day-to-day with a shoulder issue. Once Harrison is back in action, Rodriguez, Gordon Beckham and Niko Goodrum (illness) will be the primary candidates for starts at shortstop.

Torres will start at shortstop and bat third Sunday against the White Sox, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Torres was stuck in the bottom half of the lineup at the beginning of the season, but a slew of injuries to key players has allowed the 22-year-old to climb up the order. He's now hit fifth or higher in seven straight games and served as the Yankees' cleanup man for each of the previous three contests.

The Tigers recalled Rodriguez from Triple-A Toledo ahead of Sunday's game against the Twins, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Rodriguez will provide the Tigers with some added depth in the middle infield after Jordy Mercer exited Saturday's game with a right quadriceps strain and was placed on the 10-day injured list. Mercer had been serving as the Tigers' everyday shortstop, but it's unclear if Rodriguez will serve as Mercer's primary replacement or if Detroit will instead turn to Gordon Beckham or Niko Goodrum (illness) in that capacity.

Chavis has started four games at second base for Triple-A Pawtucket, the most starts at any one position in 2019, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

The Red Sox continue to move Chavis around the infield in preparation for what could be an introduction to MLB later this season. He hasn't made any errors in 18 chances at the keystone and has turned three double plays. In addition to starts at second base, Chavis has played three games at third and one game at first.
