Kemp went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Royals on Friday.

The veteran was one of the few Oakland hitters to show a pulse at the plate. Kemp's steal was his fifth of the season, and he'd been hitless in his previous 16 plate appearances coming into Friday's game.

Lopez is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the A's.

Lopez finds himself on the bench for the fourth time in the past six games. Each absence, including Saturday versus Jared Koenig, has come against a left-handed pitcher. Hunter Dozier will shift to the hot corner while MJ Melendez rests his legs as the designated hitter.

Bannon was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.

Bannon was recalled from Norfolk on Tuesday and will return there without making an appearance for Baltimore. Jonathan Arauz was promoted from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Brujan went 0-for-2 with a run scored and his third stolen base of the season in Friday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Jonathan Aranda got the start at second base, but Brujan pinch hit for him in the sixth inning and stayed at the keystone, eventually stealing third base in the 10th inning as the phantom runner before coming home with the winning run on a Harold Ramirez single. Brujan has been seeing consistent playing time in June due to numerous injuries around the diamond for the Rays, but the 24-year-old hasn't done much with the opportunity, slashing .190/.224/.333 with two homers, two steals on five attempts, three runs and 10 RBI over 18 games.

Arauz was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday.

The 23-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Red Sox on June 15 and will now join the Orioles after making three appearances with Norfolk. Arauz will provide infield depth and could immediately see some playing time since Rougned Odor (back) is banged up and Ramon Urias (oblique) is on the injured list.

Dubon is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

The 27-year-old is on the bench for the second straight day with Aledmys Diaz (shoulder) back from a four-game absence. Dubon appeared in nine games over the past couple weeks and went 7-for-21 with a home run, two doubles, four RBI and a stolen base during that stretch, so he should continue to see opportunities in a utility role.

Rosario went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Rosario has gone without a hit just once in his last 17 games, batting .384 (28-for-73) in that span. The productive hitting hasn't come with an increase in walks, as he's generated just one free pass in that stretch, but it's helped him pick up five of his eight stolen bases on the year. The shortstop has added a .278/.310/.375 slash line overall with two home runs, 18 RBI, 34 runs scored, 10 doubles and four triples. He continues to regularly hit out of the No. 2 spot in the lineup.

Gimenez went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a stolen base and an additional run scored during Friday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Gimenez entered Friday's contest with a .322/.394/.492 slash line through 17 games in June, and he only improved those numbers during the loss to Boston. Overall this year the 23-year-old has an .869 OPS with eight home runs, 34 RBI, 24 runs and six stolen bases in 57 contests.

Biggio went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Friday's 9-4 win over the Brewers.

Biggio padded the Blue Jays' lead with his seventh-inning solo shot. While he's struggled to produce at the plate, there's been signs of life lately for the infielder, as he's gone 5-for-7 across his last three games with both of his homers on the year in that span. He's lifted his slash line to .220/.373/.390 with 10 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base through 103 plate appearances, though he'll have to sustain this small hot streak to regain a regular role in the lineup.

Arroyo went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI during Friday's 6-3 win at Cleveland.

Arroyo rejoined the lineup Friday after spending the past week-plus on the COVID-19 injured list, and he came up with the bases loaded in his first plate appearance only to be hit by a pitch. The 27-year-old then delivered a two-run homer during the seventh inning to give the Red Sox the lead for good. Arroyo started at shortstop Friday with Xander Bogaerts receiving a rest day, but he's likely to see more time in the outfield while Enrique Hernandez (hip) remains on the injured list.
