Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Swipes seventh bag
Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in a 4-1 win over the White Sox during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
He went 0-for-5 in the nightcap of the twin bill. The steal was Gimenez's first since June 24 and his seventh of the season, but the 23-year-old has been struggling to string together hits lately -- he has only one multi-hit performance over his last 16 games, slashing .184/.317/.265 during that stretch.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Tallies homer, double
Semien went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run and an RBI double in a 14-7 loss to the Athletics on Tuesday.
Semien jumped on Oakland starter James Kaprielian early with a two-run long ball in the first inning and tacked on an RBI double to tie the game in the 10th. The homer was the 31-year-old's fourth of July and 11th since the beginning of June after he connected on just one through May. Semien is slashing .238/.293/.399 with 47 runs, 42 RBI and 14 stolen bases to go along with the 12 home runs.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Notches steal Tuesday
Altuve went 1-for-3 with a pair of walks, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.
Altuve has a hit in every game he's appeared in during July, going 14-for-37 (.378) in 10 games this month. He's added two steals, two home runs, seven RBI and eight runs scored in that span. The second baseman has started to look more like his past self with the steady hitting atop the order. He's now slashing .280/.372/.534 with seven steals, 17 long balls, 33 RBI and 47 runs scored in 70 contests overall.

Gleyber Torres 2B | DET
Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Three-hit night
Torres went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a walk in a 4-3 loss to the Reds on Tuesday.
With Aaron Judge getting a day of rest, Torres had a nice night at the plate hitting out of the second spot. His two doubles give him 18 on the season to go along with a solid .827 OPS. The 25-year-old second baseman has been on a tear lately. Torres came into the game slashing .419/.486/.516 over his first seven games of July.

Michael Stefanic 2B | ATH
Angels' Michael Stefanic: Leading off Tuesday
Stefanic will play second base and lead off Tuesday against the Astros, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
Stefanic has not hit higher than sixth since making his big-league debut earlier this month, but he will get a shot atop the batting order after reaching base 10 times over his last five games.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Guardians' Amed Rosario: Sitting in Game 2 of twin bill
Rosario is out of the lineup for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the White Sox.
Rosario was well overdue for a breather after starting in every game for the Guardians dating back to June 10. Owen Miller will slide over from first base into a middle-infield spot as a replacement in the lineup for Rosario, who went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in the Guardians' 4-1 win in the early game.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Pulled from rehab assignment
Hernandez (hip) was pulled from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday and will visit a specialist to be re-evaluated later this week, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Hernandez had the rehab stint paused over the weekend, and he won't immediately rejoin the Triple-A affiliate after receiving some treatment. The specifics of the setback remain unclear, but the 30-year-old's availability coming out of the All-Star break is now in question.

Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Playing time likely to trend down
Biggio is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.
With catcher Danny Jansen (finger) returning from the 10-day injured list and starting behind the plate Tuesday, Alejandro Kirk is likely to begin seeing more starts out of the designated-hitter spot. As a result, Biggio and Raimel Tapia are likely to see their opportunities decrease moving forward, since the Blue Jays had previously been able to open up spots in the lineup for the two while rotating a number of different players at DH. Biggio had started in nine of the Jays' previous 11 games in July, while Tapia picked up seven starts over that stretch.

Sam Haggerty LF | TEX
Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Retreats to bench
Haggerty is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Haggerty had started two of the past three games in the corner outfield, but he'll lose out on a spot in the lineup with Jesse Winker back in action Tuesday after completing his six-game suspension. The Mariners will be without center fielder Julio Rodriguez on Tuesday while he serves a one-game suspension, but manager Scott Servais will tab Adam Frazier to replace the 21-year-old All-Star in the outfield rather than Haggerty. Beginning with Wednesday's series finale in Washington, the Mariners will likely deploy an everyday outfield of Winker, Rodriguez and Dylan Moore through the All-Star break, resulting in Haggerty moving into a full-time reserve role.

Tony Kemp 2B | MIN
Athletics' Tony Kemp: Snaps funk with double
Kemp went 1-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Rangers on Monday, snapping an 0-for-21 skid.
The veteran found himself bumped down all the way to No. 8 in the order, but his two-bagger off Garrett Richards gave him a momentary respite from a forgettable stretch at the plate. After his average and on-base percentage most recently peaked at .244 and .326, respectively, May 31, Kemp has hit just .150 with six extra-base hits (five doubles, one home run) over his subsequent 33 games.
